Abrams was named after W. J. Abrams, Wisconsin legislator and former Mayor of Green Bay, Wisconsin.[3]. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 37.6 square miles, of which, 37.5 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles of it (0.29%) is water. Abrams is an unincorporated community census-designated place located in the town of Abrams, Oconto County, Wisconsin, United States.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.38 square miles, of which, 6.86 square miles is land and 0.52 square miles is water.[15]Oconto is located at the mouth of the Oconto River, which feeds into Lake Michigan. Oconto is home to Copper Culture State Park, which has remains dated to around 5000-6000 B.C.
With the Oconto River running through our small city, you can enjoy many recreational activities throughout the year. Summer activities include swimming, boating, skiing, and fishing on the river; biking and hiking along nature trails; golfing at a beautiful 9-hole golf course; softball and many other sports activities.
