I absolutely love working at Baptist! Not only am I an employee here, but long before I was an employee, I had outpatient surgery here! It was an effortless experience, and I felt at ease with the nurses and doctors I had. I plan to stay with Baptist a long time. Not to mention, the bistro food is amazing and is open until 2AM for night-shifters (me!) Everyone is so kind and helpful. Come work at Baptist!

Was scheduled to have my pacemaker replaced at 1:45 pm. Haven't eaten or drank anything since 10pm the prior night. It's not 3:36 and still I'm waiting to get finished with my procedure. I really hope this E.P. is good with doing this. Taking so long to get mine done. I'm dying for something to drink and eat. Plus freezing in this robe waiting for surgery.

Iโm torn as to how to rate this hospital. The care I received here was excellent, including everyone from registration to surgeon to nurses. Thatโs incredibly important. However, I was shocked by how disgusting this facility is. Iโve never been a patient in a hospital room so dirty, decrepit, and old. The entire floor I was on smells like urine and that old building smell. There are broken machines and beds lining the hallways, sometimes to the point where I had trouble navigating around them to do my prescribed walking after surgery. My room was full of chipped paint, torn and broken furniture

My dad just spent a long time in the hospital and spent time at pretty much every hospital in the area. "Big Baptist" was amazing. We did have one doctor we REALLY didn't like, but overall the care he got here was great! The nurses were absolute angels for the most part. Originally he was at Gulf breeze hospital and we were worried about him moving to main Baptist because we thought it would be worse. WE WERE WRONG! Gulf Breeze was awful, but main Baptist was great. We believe the transfer to Big Baptist saved his life!

Absolutely no bedside manners! I came yesterday as a new patient to see R.Egstad she walked in the room didnโt even introduce herself . Didnโt ask me my name date of birth or anything ! Just asked me what i needed as if I was bothering her. I immediately felt very uncomfortable. She didnโt make me feel comfortable as a new patient to her. I most definitely will not be going back .

I just showed up at the ER with an emergency card from my baptist provider. The nurse who took my EKG said sit here the doctor has to see you next. His shift ended and another triage nurse came on. He sent me to the lobby with possible covid patients while I am immune compromised and have a a serious cardiac history which they make 10s of thousands of dollars on every year. I also was having trouble breathing. I reminded them several times of the seriousness of the situation and they kept saying if they had a bed they would put me in it! While they kept taking people back over and over. I think
