The Animal Hospital of Georgetown is a full-service small animal clinic, providing wellness care, diagnostic testing, medical treatment, surgical services, emergency care, and a full pharmacy. We have proudly served Georgetown and surrounding areas since 1989. As the practice has grown with the community, we have enjoyed a reputation for practicing great medicine and treating people with courtesy and respect.
The Animal Hospital of Georgetown is a full-service veterinary medicine and surgery practice. We offer wellness visits, vaccinations, and routine procedures, as well as care for elderly, sick, or injured pets. We also maintain referral relationships with local specialists, emergency clinics, and the teaching hospital at Texas A&M University to help ensure that your pets receives the world-class care they deserves.
Routine and preventative care are the foundations for long and healthy lives for our pets. At Animal Hospital of Georgetown, we are committed to giving each and every pet a comprehensive, yearly physical examination, and to discussing any developing issues and age or breed-related concerns before they become a problem.
We treat pets for everything from broken toenails to multiple chronic diseases and surgery. If your pet has something wrong, or if you need help with a long-term problem, let us know-we would love to help! Our staff can take care of most problems in our hospital (often the same day), and when we can't, we'll refer you to an excellent option just minutes away.
We expect a lot out of our pets! When you have trouble with your dog or cat's behavior, or when he or she is anxious, fearful, or aggressive, we may be able to help. First, we will rule out any physical cause such as illness or pain, and then we can work with you on solutions. Usually, the earlier you start to work on behavior issues, the better your results will be.

The vet here was great, super attentive to my new kitten and clearly loves the animals she is helping. The vet techs were so wonderful as well, I was going to a different vet previously and have changed my pets to the care of Animal Hospital of Georgetown after a bad experience at my previous vet. I am so happy that I chose Animal Hospital of Georgetown and wish I had been here always.

Bad communication.
I made an appointment for my anxious, sometimes aggressive from fear dog. Two weeks out was the wait. They said they could prescribe a sedative for the appointment, and someone would get back to
me with instructions on how to pick it up.
It’s Friday. My appointment is Monday, no one called me.
I called them and now the story has changed: they will not prescribe any sedative until they see him in the office.
They make me wait two weeks only to feed me a line of BS.
Maybe other people at the office are more responsible, my only interaction has been with the same young man
