I really like Ward’s bridge in. I live really close and it is a good option for a treat yourself type dinner that has a decent balance of higher end dishes and also a great burger. Their whipped garlic butter that comes with the free bread at the start is reason in and of itself to make a trip here. They have great drinks and I love how they bring around a tray with all of the desserts on it at the end so you can see before you order. As for the main dishes- we’ve never had anything that wasn’t good, but have occasionally been a bit disappointed when ordering their dishes that aren’t the

Food was good, and the waitress was very nice. However, the service was extremely slow, the bartender gave us the wrong drinks multiple times. After all of this, I would have given a better review, however, we were also told he had to leave because our reservation time slot was up. To sum it up, would probably not return.

Lots of desserts they bring out tray to c what they look like,but the warm cookie dessert wasn't as good as Outbacks,wish i got the pumpkin cheesecake in season!!
Place is remodeled inside clean look, also they have an upstairs & back wheelchair ramp.Side steps need repair felt unstable, so use front ones!!! Don't miss this nice restaurant!!!

Ward’s Bridge Inn was recommended to us by Doug at Hudson Valley Rose Bed & Breakfast, and they did not disappoint. The first night we had the baked clams, salmon, NY strip and the creme brûlée with a Moscow Mule and the Fly me to the Moon cocktail. To put simply we were in the area for two nights this being our first night in the area, we went back to Ward’s our second night because everything was beyond perfect. Hubby and I walked over for drinks and appetizers. We arrived a couple minutes prior to their opening without a reservation. (I recommend having a reservation especially with the covid limited capacity precautions!) The fries were good, the southern fried oysters were AMAZING, but our onion rings were cool to the touch and cold on the inside. We had been asked how everything was prior to tasting the onion rings, I did end up mentioning the temperature issue and Marc kindly told us he would take care of them. We went here for my mothers birthday. The plates were very generous and everyone enjoyed their meals. I thought the ribs and cornbread my grandmother ordered was the best (they were nice enough to make her a dinner out of the appetizer). Our waitress Christine was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. The only negatives i saw were that it is not very handicap accessible and my grandmother had a hard time getting up the large step to the platform where our table was and there is no ramp outside to the front door. I'm hoping it's just the reflection of our stressful times as I have previously enjoyed the food there immensely! I saw the banner that they were doing limited dining and takeout... wanting to support local businesses without the risk led me to call to treat the family. After giving my order... I hung up and my daughter remarked about how RUDE the woman I was transferred to at the bar who took the order was... Decent food. Nice looking place. Friendly staff on all levels. The appetizers we had were fantastic. Baked Brie and meatballs. The meals were good but not amazing, a chicken special and Steak sandwich Au Jus(maybe because it was lunch?). The desserts were killer! (Even had a gluten free dessert option). A strong 4 star rating. Will go back again for an evening meal at another point.

Another trip to Wards Bridge Inn after a long hiatus. I am happy to report they are still one of the best restaurants in the area. My wife and I had the filet and it was excellent.

You must try the Salmon with vegetables, it's extremely delicious. The ravioli with pesto sauce... I don't know. I got upset stomach because it was tooooo oily.
The restaurant is really pretty, I like it. I can't wait to come back.
I do also recommend the Tuscan Meatballs 😍
It's an appetizer but they serve 3 Meatballs that it would be enough if you also order a salad. I mean you could get full with that. Hot chocolate here is also really good

Oh my goodness!!! This place was incredible!!! I ordered a teriyaki and shrimp bowl on lo mein, and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! It's definitely pricey, so get ready to spend so dough, but it was fantastic. I lived in that area for three years, and never went. I went back for a visit and was treated out to this place. I can't believe I never went before. Absolutely loved it!!!

I called to make reservations for a group of 9 a few days in advance, for an early dinner. When I arrived and walked in, the hostess had our reservation ready and directed us to our table, which was all put together and set up for our group. The waitress promptly met us as soon as we entered.
Most of us arrived on time, but a few trickled in late. The waitress stayed right on top of taking drink orders for each person who arrived. Once our full group was there and had been served their beverages, the waitress quickly came and took our dinner orders. I didn't catch her name, but she did

We were in the area on business and were honestly surprised. What a hidden gem! Amazing dishes , huge portions and the friendliest stuff. Christina our smiley waitress made a few awesome suggestions .... we had the fried calamari as an appetizer, crispy tasty , amazing! Seafood bisque was the best we have ever tasted , the seafood risotto was perfect and so was a Ravioli di mare on the specials.
