Sad to say this is my first review ever, but it needs to be said: This place is a dump. The gentleman at the front desk seemed irritated every time I went in there though the woman was more friendly. I felt completely caught off guard by the additional $57 PER NIGHT for our two dogs (we booked on Priceline with the small print saying, "pet-friendly; fee may apply"). It felt dishonest and pricey for such a place off the main road next to the Motel 6 except it was $238 a night when it was all said and done...totally not worth it! And it is likely they gave us this particular room because

The hotel is physically nice but the front office is not helpful. The pet fee posted to Expedia says $30/pet and they indicate that it varies based on length of stay. Having stayed in thousands of hotels with pets, that type of policy usually means $30 for a short stay and maybe a repeat of charges for a long stay. Unfortunately the official pet policy (unlike what's stated on Expedia) is $25 per pet PER NIGHT plus tax. So, if you're traveling with a pet for a week, expect to pay more than $220 instead of $30 or $60.

Our room 101 had a tv that kept shutting off, a telephone that doesn’t work, and a refrigerator that leaks water on your food. The host could not fix the tv and they recommend using your cell phone instead of the room phone? Really? Overall I would not recommend this hotel because of the poor customer service and low quality room amenities. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else.

I would highly recommend not staying here. The service was ZERO stars. We arrived late and the lady was clearly annoyed. The sheets were dirty and stained. We waited until the morning to ask for new sheets since it was after midnight and she was already so rude. The cleaning person was already gone so we went to the desk to get new sheets. She said How do I know that you didn't get the sheets dirty. She would at first only provide one new set of sheets because she didn't to unlock the closet again where the sheets were held. She said there could not possibly be two sets of dirty

How can I say I would if I could give this place 1 star, but I could not. After the HORRIBLE experience me, and my fiance went through here. PLEASE, PLEASE STAY AWAY ! First off we should of knew what was worng, when they answered their phone, with What do you want, when we driving to the hotel, and got stuck in traffic, but thought nothing of it. Ok, but then we finally got there, and wanted to relax, and rest, because of the long drive, and tv was not working. So we tried calling front desk, but phone in room had no dial tone, lol. I don't even have to say much, because this place is entirely unacceptable. I found bedbugs in the bed, checked out immediately and they refused to give me a refund. The wife who co-owns the place with her husband had the nerve to ask me if it was dirt AFTER I showed her the picture AND video of the bedbugs in the bed. PLEASE...do yourself a favor and don't stay here. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. So disgusting.

The staff was very friendly, however my room was not at all acceptable. Visible damage to the door and the walls I can live with, but the real problem was the bed. There were bedbugs in the bed, so I checked out immediately. They offered to give me a different room, but I just couldn’t stay in a place that has bedbugs. I asked for a refund, but they refused. Easily the most disturbing hotel experience I’ve had.

I'm only giving two stars because I feel that is generous. It was during a three day holiday weekend so I can't put too much vitriol in this post. That said, they definitely hung up on us when there was a problem with the hold on the credit card. After they transferred us to somebody who wasn't having a bad day the problem was solved. When we got in the room the doors had holes in them, the carpet went up the wall about half a foot, It was coming off in the corners, the shower curtain rod had rust on it, the shower wall had a chip in it somehow, and to top it all off they charged

Room was not cleaned properly. Prior occupants left refrigerator with spoiled food in it, milk carton, two eggs with cracked shells and a coke in a cup. There was a tortilla left on the patio deck and a thick layer of dirt on the floor under the air conditioner. The woman at front desk was not very concerned about it. The blow dryer would not work, stopping constantly. Someone must have vomited on the stairway because it stunk terribly.

I never complain but the room was not ready by check in time. Then they gave us another room but when we went to the new room the door was wide open and had visibly not been cleaned yet. When we told staff they told us we just had to wait. We waited an hour before a room was available to us. There was no attempt to to help us. It was noisy at night and staff did nothing to stop it.

First time staying here. The property was quit and maintained. The rooms to me are to expensive. The kids wanred to take a bath and there was no stopped for the tub 🛁.
The balcony was nice. And the room seemed clean and well maintained. The spa was closed so could not use that. No pool.
The location to the beach ⛱ was also nice. What I did not like was that you can't check in until 1500 hours but they want you gone by 1100 hours. I asked for a late check out and at 1101 hours I got several knocks on the door 🚪 telling me checkout is 1100.

PLEASE STAY ELSEWHERE. First of all, this hotel is filthy. Mold on the flex pipe under the sink, furniture polish to hide scuffs on the end table, layer of grime on the hair dryer, broken shower head, DISGUSTING air conditioner/heater, and I could go on and on. Second, the staff? The woman at check in told me, to my face, that the deposit they require starts at $100 but can go up to "$200 or more depending on what you look like." WHAT?!! This is the worst hotel/sleazy motel on this side of the Mississippi. In my profession I've stayed in many hotels around the country and the world. So for over $300 a night this place is a dirty rip off, lousy customer service who is rude and should be ashamed of themselves to run this hotel. I literally just checked in and took a nap and then checked out. No A/C and the balcony door was wide open when I got into my room and the doorknob was broke and when I told the manager he just looked at me and wondered where I park my car, like dude, seriously. Thanks you Insight R for your response however I disagree with you regarding the experiences of other patrons. There are numerous comments noting dirty rooms. In Addition 6 days before my stay Samantha B noted a dirty room and baby carrier on the balcony and it was still there when I arrived 6 days later. That tells me you are not addressing the issue.

I travelled with family with a reservation of two rooms: a king size bed room and a two queen size bed room. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff was horrible and gave me two rooms with only one bed in each room. I showed him my reservation on the booking apps, he kept saying with a bad attitude that my reservation was two rooms with one bed and refuse to resolve the problem.
