Silverthorne Veterinary Hospital

We love the silverthorne vet. They help take care of my senior boy Jake. 🐾

We recently moved to Summit County and unexpectedly needed to see a vet after our puppy had some health issues. We found Silverthorne Veterinary Hospital and have mostly worked with Dr. Justin. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain everything, and talk me through our options. When I'm in the office, I never feel rushed. He's also been very responsive to my worried emails and phone calls.
We've seen different Vet Techs and Veterinary Assistants as well. They've all been wonderful - caring, compassionate and great to my dogs.
We will continue to use SVH as our vet.

Anyone with an "exotic" pet in the mountains knows how difficult it is to find a veterinarian who is both knowledgeable and comfortable working with exotics. I was thrilled to find Dr. Justin and his team for my almost 13 year old bunny - Dr. Justin is incredibly kind and gentle with the animals in his care and very obviously ensured his staff was trained under the same values. We ended up going to Silverthorne Veterinary to make Mila's last months as comfortable as possible, and Dr. Justin and his team were wonderful with her and us until the end.

Fantastic exotic vet, they were able to get me in quickly and for a reasonable price to treat my bearded dragon Cletus. The staff were attentive and friendly and I'd definitely go back for future vet needs. If you see this, thank you guys!!!!

Dr. Young and his team took great care of me and my dog when we were up there from out of town. The hospital is up to date and clean. Their prices are very reasonable and they got us in for an appointment the same day. Definitely our vet of choice when we go up to visit in Copper again. Thanks guys!

Dr. Justin under very trying times! He help us through the process of having to put down our dog and from the bottom of our hearts we THANK him for his compassion! I primarily only write positive reviews on Google, but because my experience at Silverthorne Veterinary Hospital was so painful, I am compelled to write about it.
It has been almost a year to the date since my ordeal and it has taken me that long to be able to write this review. My precious 9-month-old kitten Mowgli suddenly stopped eating and I had to take him to the Silverthorne vet clinic as they were the on-call office that day. In my opinion, the veterinarian I saw was knowledgeable and accurate about my kitten's condition which he believed to be a fatal congenital liver defect. I was shocked

Everyone at the hospital was so awesome. We had a great experience. I would recommend them to everyone. We don't live in Silverthorne, but we have a condo there and so we had to see them for an emergency for our dog Skye. They were so wonderful with her and I left there feeling so relieved that Skye had been so well taken care of while we were there.
