At St James Christian Schools, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment which fosters a child's mental, social, emotional, and physical growth. Our play-based curriculum allows children to learn the skills they need in a structured environment with the help and supervision of an experienced teacher who knows how to take interests and experiences and turn them into learning moments.
Both my daughters are currently at St. James and have been there from the Pre-School Program through to the School Age Program. Our daughters have always loved the school and the comfort of the smaller tight community it provides. They have made friends for life at the school and some teachers who they consider to be like family.

Services
What a fun age! They are really starting to become individual thinkers and develop their unique personalities. They are engaging in hands-on learning by investigating and discovering their environment through play and exploration. They are learning how to play constructively with peers, enter play, share, take turns, engage in meaningful activities, and express themselves constructively.
The last year before kindergarten is a time of enormous and exciting growth. As a parent, you want your child to enjoy this stage while building the right skills for the steps ahead. We offer a program that gives you both; teachers who cherish this important time, and curriculum recognized by parents and teachers for helping children build the social and academic skills needed to be ready for school.
Our school age program recognizes children as capable individuals in the process of developing cognitive, social, emotional, and creative skills. We enhance each child's unique needs and abilities by maximizing freedom and creativity and encouraging exploration, while providing safe limits and consistent support.
