Services
In our molding department, we produce regular injection, structural foam and structural foam counter-pressure parts. Our high pressure injection equipment ranges in size from machines with 55 ton - 2 ounce to 1500 ton - 265 ounce capacity. Most of these machines are equipped with process controllers.
We manufacture plastic injection and structural foam molds with emphasis on high quality production tooling. The CAD-CNC handshake ensures great accuracy in the tooling we build, while reducing valuable lead time. Our CNC machine tools are the heart of the tool room which is fully equipped with two, seventy-five foot span, twenty ton bridge cranes used for handling very large tools.
Our secondary department is capable of many operations. At Avedon, we ultrasonically insert, bond, glue, heat-stake, pad print, silk-screen, assemble, and package plastic parts to meet customer specifications. Our painting department has 11 paint booths along with two conveyor ovens and two batch ovens to enhance programs of any size.
The design process begins by optimizing the part for manufacturing. We invite all of our customers to take full advantage of our expertise in mold making, molding, secondary, and finishing during the product design stage to help prevent the need, later on, for tool changes. Avedon's early involvement and consultation in part design ensures success, in the form of high quality parts the first time.
