Treatment of the muscles around the temporomandibular joint, joint mobilizations, disc/motor control exercises, headache management, postural correction, strategies addressing improving mechanics and decreasing load of the joint. Treatment of symptoms related to vestibular (inner ear/balance) disorders.
We are In-Network with BCBS and as a courtesy we will look up your specific plan and let you know what your physical therapy benefits are. We advice you also contact your insurance provider for your physical therapy benefits. We are Out-of-Network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Humana and Cigna. As a courtesy, we will provide you with a receipt so you may submit to your out-of-network insurance for possible reimbursement.
Poor sitting or standing posture can cause neck, mid back and low back pain, hip pain, headaches, sciatic nerve pain and/or arm/hand numbness or tingling. It is also important to get up frequently, every 20-30 minutes, to help reset posture and get the body moving. There is no one perfect posture. The key is to change up your position.
2. Get into an anterior pelvic tilt by tipping your pelvis forward and extending through your low back. Your glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves can feel pretty tight after running or other exercises. In the short term, foam rolls and mobility balls can be a good strategy to get muscles feeling less tight.
We are In-Network with BCBS and the cost will vary depending on your plan. We will look up your specific plan details and have that information for you prior to the initial visit. The State of Illinois now offers direct access, which means that we no longer need a prescription from your doctor. Unfortunately, many physical therapy clinics are required to treat 2-3 patients per hour, which does not allow optimal results.

George is the absolute BEST! I looked forward to going to physical therapy each session. After having ankle surgery, George knew exactly what to do to help me have a speedy recovery, and how to make it enjoyable. The one-on-one nature of Dynamic PT is unique and hard to come by and I cannot recommend Dynamic PT (and George) enough.

After not being able to run for a year, I had high hopes but low expectations when I made my first appointment at Dynamic PT. Two months later, I am happily running without pain all thanks to Mary. Mary is very thorough in her evaluations, personalized in her training plans, and fun to spend time with (even when working hard!). She listens closely to understand your individual needs and goals and creates unique workout plans to help you get there.

Mary and crew are consummate professionals. I was essentially pulled from the brink of despair when I aggravated a chronic low back injury in early 2019. Upon a referral I began seeing Mary at DPT and she quickly diagnosed what was contributing to this aggravation. Up until this point I have usually treated my chronic low back pain with standard chiropractic; however, this time the pain was more acute, my activities were thoroughly hindered, and therefore I felt defeated. Saw George Andrew’s for some knee pain today, and come to find out, the sensitivity came from misaligned hips and tights quads. George was fantastic and quickly got to work. The one-on-one thoughtful service is what a truly stood out. I was previously seeing a chiro who I wasn’t satisfied with, so this was a pleasant surprise. After some dry needling, massaging, scraping and PT exercises, my knee pain was significantly less noticeable and I felt 10x better than when I walked in. Already excited for my next visit!

Mary is AMAZING! I came in with shoulder pain (rotator cuff issue), and she worked like a detective to sort out potential causes and a path to resolution. She worked with me to identify treatments that worked best for me - with exercises/stretches during my appointments and at home. She set up-front expectations on how long recovery could take, and adjusted the approach as needed. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a great PT!!

I've been going to Dynamic PT for two months now to see George and it's been such an incredible experience! I had been suffering from hip pain for 6 months and he had me feeling so much better in just a few weeks.
