Waited a long time for server & she didn't introduced herself, took a long time for drinks, ordered the charcuterie board for app. & the cheese was sour, meat was fatty & dry.. not worth $20.. told server & she didn't seem to care...crab cake seemed to have filler...no manager ever came around to ask how things were...probably not be going back..

I rarely re-review places but widows has gone rapidly downhill over the past year. I understand Covid pressures etc and many establishments have really shone during this time. I venture that I have been to widows nearly 100 times over the years ( including large groups, wedding rehearsal dinners, business meetings and family) but will no longer go. The staff is rude, their options for my gluten free wife have evaporated, and I have zero reason to spend money here now with so many great restaurants in the area.

My buddy John and I came here on wed. afternoon and had a late lunch and everything was GREAT.....First we met Reagan the bartender and she was nice and very helpful,,,, I had the charbroiled steak sandwich (minus the bread) along with their homemade coleslaw which was excellent and my buddy had the chicken wrap which he also said was excellent ....The bar is very homey and very clean along with the toilets,,,, We met some people there on their front patio area and had a few more cocktails after lunch and had a HOOT.... Next time in the area I will definitly come back and try another item on

Ate here a second time after a bad first experience. Staff not very friendly. Hostess was extremely rude. Food order was incorrect and when asked for it to be fixed, received bad attitude. I figured it may have been a bad night and tried again. Same bad service. Even was asked to move to a smaller uncomfortable table as they were having a "VIP" coming in. Will not return

Outside there is a sign come in plenty of tables. We get inside and "do you have a reservation" Seriously? There were many empty booths and tables. They decide to seat us and we order drinks. No cognac ! Only two kinds of brandy. The Long island ice tea was so watered down it was almost clear. Disappointing bar.

Decided to try this place for lunch, I had a craving for crab soup & it was one of the few local places that had it on its menu. Walked in & the place was very dark despite it being a sunny day. No wait staff or hostess to be seen anywhere. A decent amount of people seated both at tables & the bar area but only one table had any food- one man kept looking at his watch. I waited another ten minutes or so and no one ever came out so I left. The food sounds good, but sadly I never got to try it due to terrible service.

We waited 3 - 4 minutes before someone acknowledged us and another 2 - 3 before the hostess seated us. We had to change tables because the bench seat was so tight. More waiting for our server, who barely spoke to us. She never asked us if we wanted another drink. She barely spoke at all. We enjoy talking to our servers, so it wasn't because we weren't friendly. The hostess looked confused when I asked for water with lemon. Another wait for the food and again for the check. The only time we didn't wait was between the salad and the meal, because they came right on top

Fantastic! Great restaurant and food was delicious .
We had a party of 13 and there was no problem with separate checks ,even when deserts are split !!
Server was wonderful and very attentive!!!!
Portion sizes were great and the best crab soup EVER!!

Meh I don't know I've been here before and pretty sure I liked it. Tonight was just "ok" I had clams and some were ice cold. I could've made a big stink about it but it was only 2 cold and like 3 lukewarm. I also ordered crab Mac and cheese there wasn't much crab nor even cheese and very bland. The waitress was very nice and attentive that was the only good thing

Such a shame. This place has really gone downhill. We tried to enjoy our New Year's Eve dinner here with family, but we were very disappointed.
The fried chicken had so much breading that it was hard to taste the chicken, the burger that I ordered medium-rare came out well-done, and the burger that my nephew ordered medium-well came out medium rare. The calamari was pretty good, though.
The service was terrible. They weren't very busy but our waitress couldn't be bothered to check on us. My nephew's burger didn't come out until 20 minutes after the rest of the meals had

I had a cup of the She Crab Soup and it was cold and full of shells. I also had the stuffed portobello and that also had crab shell in it but not as bad as the soup. The buffalo chips were good and if I return I would get those again but nothing with Crab! The waitress was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed that we were there. Hardly spoke, never asked how anything was or if we needed anything, not very welcoming. I do think it was just this waitress because the bartender got us to go boxes and he seemed much more friendly.

I just found this nice little gem. It's a half a mile walk from the truck stop. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. So far the salad was great with their in-house balsamic, and my mouth is watering in anticipation of the crab cakes with broccoli. My waitress, Amber, is awesome and she does her job very well.

Chocolate Covered Raspberry Martini. "Chocolate vodka, raspberry vodka, DeKuyper Razzmatazz liqueur, crème de cacao, cream." Excellent. No alcohol taste. Sugar rim.

Just had the apple wood bacon cheese burger. I ordered it well, but it was a little burnt on the edges. The homemade chips are amazing. I would have gone 3.5 stars, but Yelp won't let me. The wait staff is friendly and helpful and the inside is pretty. If you are in the back room with a group, the road behind van make it seem like they are coming through the wall. The ghost story is cool. We didn't see Marvin. I'd eat here again.
