Stayed here for Thanksgiving, and booked a table for dinner. Unfortunately it did not offer the Thanksgiving menu as advertised. So we ordered a butternut squash soup, ribs and Bacon wrapped shrimp for starters. For the main course we had a Cuban panini and rack of lamb.
Unfortunately it's really cold and it was short staffed for Thanksgiving so perhaps my review isn't representative for what they always offer. The staff took a while to bring the plates and The beverages, Unfortunately my Diet Coke was completely flat. They also made a mistake of bringing the dessert first, and my daughter

You have to go inside the hotel and take the elevator up to the rooftop. no advertisements no nothing. then you stand at the host desk and get ignored and then seat yourself. pay $30 for two cocktails that are named for having peach and then taste like straight up lime juice. we paid and left to drink somewhere else.

Fun bar with plenty of food and drink options and if you're staying at the Inn, it's a convenient place to have dinner, share appetizers, or just have a drink or 2 while you watch the sunset.
Our waitress, Maria was very energetic and friendly. She basically suggested everything on the drink and food menu but I decided on the beet salad while my husband decided on the bacon wrapped shrimp. We sipped on a couple of fun cocktails while we watched the sun set and the fun lights happening by the wharf. It was quite cold that evening and Maria made sure we had enough heat to keep us warm

Sharon! Sharon! Sharon! The highlight was Sharon. The bartender here at the Rooftop. I docked them a star because of lack of employees to properly handle the crowd but Sharon kept them moving and on point. I have never seen a bartender with so much leadership skills before. Sharon was a 5, the rooftop was a 3, average out at 4. I think they will be better as she gets more experience with this crew.

Only reviewing to help any other traveler looking for a drink to avoid this place. Check out other review websites, closer to a 2.9 than it is on google. Asked for a couple old fashioneds (don't no the plural here) but received something with soda and like gritty sugar. By far the worst drink I've ever had and we choked them down and left. $18 terrible drinks. Avoid this place unless all you want is a $10 beer or wine. Staff was friendly but doesn't know the difference between rye and bourbon, I mean you're a bar...

We took the elevator up and were seated promptly, overlooking the pier. A friendly staff-member was very helpful in lighting the gas fires next to us.

My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and it was a pretty big disappointment. To start off the tables surround a small pool and hot tub that the guests use so it started off on a weird vibe.
We were sat at a 6 person table as far as possible from the view so that didn't help things.
We ended up just getting an appetizer-ahi nachos,good enough not great.
We did not get drinks because we were ready to leave shortly after getting there.

Unfortunately our server didn't treat us well and even paying the bill was difficult. Very frustrating especially since we were celebrating a birthday. The food was good tho. The chicken club and 🦀 balls 😋. The bartender was 😎 and The other server was actually sweet, other wise i wouldn't of given so many stars.

Food was very good. The kale salad had a nice flavor to it. The cheeseburger and salad was tasty. The clam chowder was nice (not sandy at all). Wings were not too sweet. The view was nice as we had the table facing the pier. Staff was nice and friendly on top of all of that. I recommend you give Rooftop a try.

Great staff and awesome view. This team cares about the food and wants everyone to be happy. While this whole COVID-19 thing has everyone under staffed I could not tell as the staff here is so attentive and willing to bend over backwards. I would recommend the kale salad and hamburger any day. They make there own chips and the drinks are perfectly served while you look over the ocean and see the sunset.

The service was 10/5 stars thanks to our amazing server Hannah. Example, when I needed a gluten free option she vastly accommodated and provided the amazing House Roasted Turkey on kale. It wasn’t exactly a sandwich but I want to order it this way every time moving forward. She also fixed my drink which I would have normally give. The Mexican candy drink a 3/5 but her service made it a 10.
4/5 is for the drinks which I think could taste a little less soapy but the rest of the experience saved the review.

Blonde Restaurant and Bar won the 74th Pismo Annual Clam Festival. Blonde is the located at the Inn at the Pier directly across the pier just pass the public parking lot. Blonde Restaurant and Bar serves breakfast and brunch. The restaurant actually closes at noon where table service for lunch and dinner is moved to the Rooftop at the Inn at the Pier which is conveniently located at the rooftop of the hotel. Clam chowder is only served for the dinner seating. Access to Rooftop is limited as you need a keycard as a guest of the hotel to get into the elevator. Once at the Rooftop you have open seating

We went in for a Friday evening date night. There was a mix up with reservations, so we sat in some lounge chairs off to the side for drinks and an appetizer until a regular table opened up. Kale was our server, and he was great! Very attentive and accommodating - as soon as a table was open, he made sure we were seated. Our food arrived just in time and was delicious! I ordered the chimichurri steak while my husband had the fried chicken. Both were cooked well and very flavorful. We left full and happy. Would definitely recommend especially if you can get a table with Kale!

The staff was great. We reserved a table for sunset and showed up early, which they accommodated. It was a little chilly so they brought us a patio heater.
We ordered drinks, the onion dip, cauliflower, cheesecake, and the fried chicken (on our server's recommendation). They were all delicious and delightful variations of common dishes.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking

This place needs to step up their game. It's laughable bad. 1st: they can't make consistent drinks to save their life. Second: who doesn't have fries on the menu? Kids don't like your homemade chips 3rd: does anyone like the homemade chips? Say it with me...salt. It's your friend. Use it. 4th: the appetizers. Wow, wilted veges throw together on a plate with a dab of hummus. Yuck. "Chips and dip" salt less tasteless bar food. Or the almond and olive appetizer which comes in a hot soup of olive oil that you have to eat with a spoon. It was bad. The flavor on it

The service here was kind, attentive, and prompt. We only ordered drinks and ceviche. I'm always disappointed with maraschino cherries in drinks, but that's a personal preference. The ceviche was not that flavorful and I didn't like how chunky it was. The homemade "chips" had a very stale texture.
As far as the view goes, you're only getting it if you're sitting in the right spot. Most of the space, you don't see much.

Our drinks were Taylor made specifically to our pallets liking served with a beautiful view and some of the best service I have ever received.

This restaurant is on top of a hotel thus it being called rooftop , you can dine here without being a guest , but you'll have to get a key to go up to the roof . The views alone make this a great place to visit . During Covid times the restaurant is offering a reduced menu which is normal and understandable , that being said I didn't really see anything that I wanted to try . The regular menu though looks delicious and I'd love to come back when they have more menu options available .

Service was great from beginning to end. Our bartender was able to give us suggestions on what to drink based on our likes. I ended up getting the strawberry lavender drink, while my friends opted for the strawberry margarita and a lemon meringue drop. The drinks were okay -- I did get a good buzz off of my drink, but I didn't care for the taste so much. My friend's margarita was basically tequila with a splash of lime!
