Burgers are disgusting, small & mostly fillers.
Shakes are some sort os powder mix crap. Fries are the cheapest frozen crap on the market. Service is THE WORST. It is disgusting & DIRTY inside. Prices are CRAZY expensive for CRAP.!AVOID at ALL COSTS.

We've been driving by Orbakers for a couple years now and have always said we need to try it.

We finally made the stop one day and it didn't disappoint. Good burgers and fries! We didn't have to wait long for our food at all. The only issues we had: Cash only (who carries cash these days? But fortunately I had a $20!), could be a little cleaner, and tables outside could use some work. But that wouldn't stop us from returning.

They lost my business for good after my last experience. When my friend and I walked in the evening of 11/11, we saw "Winterbeater Plate $11.50" written on a white board near the entrance. When we both ordered one, the bill total reflected the regular menu price of $13.50. When I questioned it, we were subsequently told by the so-called 'manager' in charge that the white board listing was for a 'half plate'. When I told her that wasn't what the white board stated, and that it matched exactly with what was on the menu board, she proceeded to rudely argue with us and refused to honor the white board

Entire place staffed by folks not old enough to buy beer. Had 2 go to manager after half hour due to not getting our drinks. Then had 2 wait 5 more minutes 2 get them. Took 10 more minutes to get our food. Mind you, there were 6 of us, we ordered over $120 worth of food and the place was empty. I saw 5 other couples come in they all got served promptly. Our food did not start 2 b cooked until i spoke with manager, and he didnt think it was a big deal. Also, had to explain to the cook how to make a cheesburger with just tomatoes, cheese, meat and bun in detail THREE TIMES.

Our last experience was better pre covid. Food was okay. The burger was good but the Mac and cheese is soupy. They were out of the sweet potato fries, zucchini sticks, and root beer. After receiving our order we asked to add an order of onion rings. Those never came. We waited and after watching 2 other orders disappear we asked for a refund. It was being run by a younger crew and understaffed like everyone else. After getting someone's attention, I gave them 65 cents with my receipt showing $5.35 and asked for my $6 back. After looking confused, I was given my .65 cents and $5.35 back in change

They've been there since 1932 so they much be doing something right! And they are! The food was great and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant had an air conditioned dining area, while the grill area maintained the traditional hamburger stand, hot in the summer feel. We got together with a group of friends and had a great time.

YIKES! The restaurant isn't clean and the lack of an ordering system is completely bonkers. Service was great once we were finally waited on, but the wait was frustrating for sure. There's a total lack of any sort of shift management going on and it shows with the amount of tasks that need doing and employees visibly standing around int he back (trash overflowing, clutter all over the place, dirty dishes, boxes of product out on the counter, grill employees walking around eating/drinking on the floor, fry warmer tray overflowing, and the list goes on)! Not sure if I didn't notice

Great food, but kids working the counter couldn't care. Waited about 10 minutes to get an ice cream after eating lunch. Two other customers there, and about 6 workers who happened to be on break at same time. While two workers were working.
Will try again another time.

I was a bit nervous about hitting up this spot, but it was tasty goodness!

The servers were friendly and helpful, which is quite hard when they are literally sliding all along the floor because of the grease. That brought back some nice memories from my own high school fast food job, lol!

Jim G. got the Empire Burger and Onion rings, which were very good! I ordered the Zweigle's White Hot with mustard, onions, and meat sauce (which, to me seemed to be aka chili). When I asked our friendly server what toppings I should get, she was SHOCKED that I had never had one! She literally said, "

Hands down one of the best burger experiences around. We make it an occasion to stop here once a year on our trip from the Midwest to our cabin in the Adirondacks. Orbakers has a 1950s drive-in feel, a quick order process at the counter, and the cooks preparing food right in sight while you wait. Make sure you have cash or check, because no credit card is accepted (although ATM is on site). It gets warm and crowded in the summer, especially during meal time, but there is seating outside and we have never had to wait too long. Just go, you won't be disappointed with your burger!

If you want an old style sloppy greasy cheeseburger that may take a a few days off your life then this is the place to go. Honestly the drive in burger is one of my all time favorites, throw meat hot on it and you got yourself a meal that will hold you over for an entire day. Aside from the pretty high prices which in this economy are understood (although it's like $3 for a coke idk what that's about) it's pretty much the best local burger place in the county.

I've been coming to Orbakers a few times a year most of my life. And they keep getting better. The food is is great and the people are excellent. Last week I brought my 98-year-old mother in for lunch and she left a wrist brace behind. When I called about it, they immediately found it and decided to mail it to her without charge!Manager Mckenzie and staff person Avery deserve special praise for their kindness and help.

I've been from the east coast to the west coast. Stopping at various diners, restaurants and hole-in-the-walls. This Orbaker's diner/drive-in has a good atmosphere and reminds me of my child hood diner, Woody's. The burger was good, not just the toppings, the meat was fresh 'n' tasty! Fries are cooked, a bit of crunch and NOT limp! Over all, I would say, you have to try it out. Really good burger place!
Now for the shake, very tasty and perfectly thick.
The reason for 4 stars. Watch what you order and make sure you get it. These are young adults working very hard and as we all have been there

Staff was very nice. Large menu. Fish was perfectly cooked and not a ton of breading. Burger was great. Hard roll was perfect with it. My root beer float was delicious. Chili was spicy but not over the top. Very good.

Good food, crap service and safety.

On our way out of town to 1000 islands, we decided to get some burgers and shakes at this local institution. We got there, and on the website it said we could call in our order and they'd bring it out to the car.

Nope.

The person on the phone complained she couldn't hear me (it's too loud inside the restaurant) and I would have to come in. So they want their website to make it look like they're concerned about public safety, but they aren't. Masks inside? *Most* of the employees had them over *most* of the holes in their faces

First time here. My friend got a burger and some fries. I got a Bacon Cheeseburger and Mozzarella sticks. Our first surprise was when we went to pay and they did not take cards. They do have an ATM, but of course you get fees from the ATM and fees from your bank to use it. So prepare accordingly. The food was pretty good. I asked for my drink with no ice as usual, but the Pink Lemonade I maybe should have because it was warm. Usually the machine keeps it cool enough. Service was a little on the slow side. I went to get a shake as we left and they didn't have bananas so I skipped and went to Yia

If you're looking for a treat this is the place. We were back in town and wanted to eat lunch some were other than my fav. Candy kitchen. (I know how could I not go there) Our boys ordered a burger and onion rings, and chicken tenders and fries. Wife ordered a hamburger and onion rings and I got a burger and fries. All of us ordered drinks as well. Our order was almost $60!!

$60!!! That's crazy to me. With that being said the food was amazing and worth going every once in awhile.

Stopped here with and to meet up with family while traveling. The draw is that it's been around since 1932, it's family owned and it is sort of a tourist attraction. In all the 45+ years I have gone by the place whether as a child with my parents or driving on Rte 104 between home and Sodus Point, this is the first time I have stopped here to eat that I can recall.

The food is not bad, burgers are generally burgers - however, this is certainly better than the national McChains.

Be prepared, it's Cash or Check Only! They do have an ATM on the premises.

OMG it was SWELTERING

I absolutely love this place. My husband grew up in Red Creek, and we now live in Buffalo. We make the journey back and forth to visit his family pretty frequently, and you just can't get there without driving past Orbakers. And the signs on the side of the road telling me to slow down for the food ahead get me every time.

It's a really cute drive in restaurant, that is open year round. They have your drive in staples like burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. but then they also have wraps, fish fry, salads (but I don't know who comes here for salad!) and even a garbage plate option,

We drove by this place the other day on the way to the Lavender Festival and decided to stop in on the way back. FYI CASH ONLY they do have an atm machine. This place has been a mainstay in the area since the 1930's. They have the area when the food is made and some seating but it's hot as blazes inside. They have all sorts of things to eat but the prices made me question it.. almost $4.00 for one sized order of perfectly cooked crinkle cut fries but you don't get much? I got the Chicken Club it was very tasty, fried piece of chicken, mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce and tomato if
