We are an insurance based provider and offer flexible appointments.

We believe effective counseling promotes growth and self-healing in a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental environment. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families in Marblehead, Swampscott and other North Shore communities by providing a high-quality, local source of mental health and family support.
When you call, we match the expertise of one of our fully-licensed, certified therapists to your individual mental health issue. Therapists meet with clients in private sessions to help them develop new approaches and arrive at solutions for the issues that have brought them to us. Our philosophy is to work with our clients as long as they are benefiting from our services.

She works with a wide range of diagnosis in both children and adults including; bipolar, depression, anxiety, phobias, oppositional defiant disorders, loss, trauma, as well as many others.

Marblehead Counseling Center is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and just like most major hospitals, we have a long tradition of support from donors, especially the Marblehead/Swampscott community. Donations help to subsidize people who may be underinsured or unable to pay for therapy.

I was put on the waiting list in May. It is now August. I have waited more than 8 weeks to see someone. Dont waste your time with unprofessional reception making excuses for not doing callbacks after the 8 weeks as mentioned in the initial phone calls (multiple times). I ended up just hanging up on her excuses.

The Marblehead Counseling Center is staffed by highly trained clinicians who can treat most any mental health issue.
Since they are a community resource that relays on donations to fully staff the Center please consider contributing as much as possible to enable them to fully address a 100# client waiting list
