Services
Established in 1996, Medical Psychology Center was founded to serve the psychological needs of people of the North Shore of Boston. Dr. Inz as Director of Outpatient Psychiatric Services at Beverly Hospital (1990-1994) saw the impact of providing good psychological care on the physical well-being of his patients.
Dr. Inz is a Licensed Psychologist with 30 years of research and clinical experience working in the areas of behavioral medicine and medical psychology. He was previously an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Inz also previously directed the Outpatient Psychiatry Service of Beverly Hospital.

Whether you are suffering from physical or emotional pain, need direction in life, or are struggling with existential questions, we can help you cope or navigate your way back to a healthier state of being. Most people struggle at some point in their lives, and unfortunately this burden is held solely by the sufferer.
Sometimes seeking support from a third party can help reclaim the love in a relationship or marriage. Learn communication skills, parenting skills, or simply how to reconnect with your partner. External life stressors can be detrimental on a relationship, however there is the opportunity to work together to navigate those road blocks.
MPC clinicians promote conversations that emphasize the exploration of ways in which families can effectively engage together. Setting in motion the strengths and wisdom of the family we explore skills to build collaborative teams -spouses, children, partners, parents, etc. where members brainstorm creative solutions to a problem and thus make the best attempts at meeting the needs of everyone.

I am very dissatisfied with my experience here. Not only is the office difficult to locate within the Cummings Center, but the cancellation policy seems to be quite punitive and is not explained thoroughly to new patients. Now I'm stuck paying for an appointment I gave more than 24 hours notice to cancel, but because I cancelled it on a weekend day-- I'm still on the hook. If the practice can't accommodate patients changing schedules over the weekend, they shouldn't schedule Monday appointments.

I am a local physician, & I have been referring patients to The Medical Psychology Center for >15 years. Pretty sure this place doesn't exist. I was playing phone tag with a guy named Kyle Cummings who never answered when I actually called. Left me a voicemail that they had an opening for the next day at 4 (which I thought was weird they were able to fit me in so quickly as a new patient). I called back and left a voicemail that I would take that appointment and to give me a call in the AM to confirm or deny that it was available. Never got a call back. Went to their location in the Cummings Center and could not find the office and nobody could seem to help me find it, either. Total hoax. 100 THUMBS

I think this place is great. The person I see is awesome, very helpful and I have had no problems with this place. I had an appointment late at night when everything was closed, and was skeptical with the reviews, but I went in the door anyways and sure enough after waiting a few minutes, there was someone there for my appointment.
