These people are crooks. They refuse to bill insurance despite promising to do so on 2 occasions. They engage in deceptive and abusive billing practices and fail to do what they say they will do in a timely manner. Their scam is to bill directly rather than through insurance so they are not subject to contractual rates paid by insurance. Pay them last if you go to the ER!

They are contracted medical staff who are in general very difficult to work with. They are not Salem Hospital doctors, they work for a contractor. If there is a problem with the medical services they provide being contracters it makes dealing with those problems or concerns almost impossible. Salem Health doesn't seem to care either.

Everyone we interacted with (aside from the worst, most horrific, detrimental doctor) was truly exceptional!
We especially could not be more grateful than we truly are for our nurse Ashley!
Not only caring and respectful, she listened and encouraged our healing.
She deserves the best recognition possible from her company!
Thank you for tending to my sweet baby girl tonight by providing a "finger cozy," a finger bath, and creating a safe and caring atmosphere!
You are truly the reason why health care is supposed to exist!

Was told by my insurance that the ER visit was to be billed on one bill, but these folks apparently represent those who want to tack on charges.
When I questioned it, I was sent to collections - even though my insurance had paid and I had paid my "patient responsibility" portion already!!
First two reps I spoke with were no help, got hung up on by the next two when I asked for a supervisor. Supervisor I did finally get was dismissive and snarky, and simply told me to call the collection agency THEY had sent me to. Big trouble for tiny bill... I guess they just assume we will lay down and pay

They ran my bank card with out my approval!!! When I called all they said is that it hasn't posted to my account and that they would never do that. Now I have to dispute it though my bank. I understand that people have a hard time collecting money for medical bills, but I actually was paying and all they could do is sorry we don't see anything on our system. Not helpful at all!

After injuring my hand on August 10th AT HOME, I thought that everything was fine until I received a bill for $978.00 On 8/27/15. I have very good health insurance and could not understand why I'm receiving a bill for WAY more than my E.R. copay. So I called them......... Waited on hold...,...... And finally spoke to one of their representatives who breathed so loud/heavy into the phone, I thought I receiving an obscene call from Darth Vader. I told her that I was confused why I received this bill and not my insurance. She told me that I hurt my hand at work so my insurance was not billed? I'm
