As a Physical Therapist and Movement Practitioner, my mission is to help people tap into their potential to better perform, move, and thrive. I am passionate about helping people feel good doing what they love to do, and also what they need to do. This means everything from skiing and hiking to desk sitting to just getting out of bed!
I enjoy teaching people that their body is a connected unit. With this knowledge, they are able to heal, recover, and perform in an efficient and healthy way. Treatments are designed to align the structural system, reorganize soft tissue and myofascial systems, and retrain the body to move effortlessly.

Physical Therapy Evolution's primary goal is to provide care that allows patients to return to their normal lives as quickly as possible and with increased body awareness and knowledge. Dr. Britton has the advanced training and experience to tackle any physical movement or pain problem. She offers multiple specialties in order to meet your needs and to succeed in treating and managing orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.
We use many different physical therapy interventions to not only recover from injuries, but also to prevent them from occurring in the first place. Symptoms occurring because of orthopedic problems, musculoskeletal injuries, postural dysfunction, and neuromuscular disease can all be decreased significantly with physical therapy.
80% of the population will experience back pain at some point in their lifetime. Neck pain is almost as prevalent. With physical therapy intervention, most patients will be able to avoid more aggressive interventions such as surgery. Commonly, back and neck pain is aggravated by our day-to-day postural habits.
The shoulder is made up of 3 bones called the humerus, the scapula, and the clavicle as well as tendons and ligaments. The acromion is the bony 'bump' at the top of the shoulder. The bursa is a fluid-filled sac that provides a cushion between the bony acromion and the rotator cuff tendon. It is important to get proper treatment for shoulder pain as soon as it occurs.
Knee pain can be caused by arthritis, excessive foot pronation or overuse of the muscles that protect this vulnerable joint and can affect people of any age. Most chronic knee pain is avoidable. Research published in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that exercise and physical therapy are just as effective as surgery for relief from chronic knee pain related to arthritis.

Rachael is an amazing physical therapist. She is not only extremely professional but also just a kind person and easy to talk with. I have seen many physical therapists and she goes above and beyond to have a personalized plan based on what you need. I wish I still lived in Denver to be able to see her! Highly recommend her for physical therapy.

Rachael has been great! I have had 5 sessions or so to work on my frozen shoulder and every time I leave PT, I notice improvement range of motion and less pin. She is friendly and listens to my input each time.
UPDATE: I have finished approx. 18 sessions and gained an increase of around 80% of my range of motion in my shoulder and I am almost completely free of pain! Highly recommend working with Rachael.

Rachael helped me get back to running ultras! I have had consistent foot and hip problems that have plagued my running. I knew I needed good orthotics, but I've had bad experiences in the past. She worked on me a few times to get a feel for my goals and my problems and then fitted me with the best orthotics I've ever had--and they're not expensive! Her attention to detail really pays off.
She also gave me exercises to do at home that have immensely helped my form and efficiency. I strongly recommend Evolution PT for runners in need of a tune up, orthotics, or a specific fix.

Rachael is an amazing PT. She really takes the time to listen and get to know her patients. She explains what she is doing an why to help patients become a part of the treatment process. I noticed a significant improvement in mobility and a decrease in pain after the first visit, and was given techniques to use in my everyday routine. I am now pain free after living with chronic pain for years thanks to her vast knowledge and effective treatment.
