WCR did an amazing job repairing and enhancing my drainage problem. They were on time every day and finished ahead of schedule; 4 days not 5. The work site was set up for a safe work environment and was cleaned up every night. The workers that showed up went above and beyond want was initially asked of them. Pricing was simple to understand and extremely fair for the quality of work that was done. WCR has made it to my short list of company's that I would allow to come back to work on my property.

We had to find a plumber quickly when we found a gas leak and our gas was turned off by Nicor. We chose Windy City based on all of the favorable reviews and their service area. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. They responded immediately and fixed the gas problem quickly. We requested that they look at a sewage issue which led to finding a collapsed line to our septic tank. They quickly sent a crew of 5 guys to dig up and replace the line. We developed an appreciation for there professionalism, quality of work, and fair pricing. We decided to have them replace old water and sewer lines

The Good: Quick to reply, the owner cares about the business and making customers happy. The scheduling/online team are great. Free, no obligation quotes.
The Bad: Like any company with employees (vs solo plumber) it can be hit and miss with the quality of the plumber you get and unfortunately I got a miss. I had a drip on my bathtub faucet and I figured while they were there I'd have them flush my water heater.
Cost: Their prices are NOT CHEAP. Expect to pay around $250/hr for even basic tasks and don't expect even the smallest job to run you under

These guys are the best. I just bought a house in Antioch. Needed a plumber looked online called a few companies. But charges me to come out and look at the issue I didn’t like that. This company didn’t charge me. I talked to the office lady forgot her name but I told her what was going on. She said she could have someone be sent out when I get home from work around 5. They get your job done and arrive on time but they quote a price out of the blue & they are way overpriced, you can't even tell how did they come up with the price, its a roughly quote out of the guy mind who came that day.

Windy City Rooter just put in an overhead sewer system AND replaced our main sewer line. The guys were great and efficient. They went out of their way to make sure we understood exactly what they were doing and cared about how we were feeling and about inconveniencing us in any way. We would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs. The price was reasonable, the time line was perfect, and the outside looks amazing after all the work was finished. What started out as a small job of changing out 2 faucets and fixing a clog turned out to be a bigger job. Thankfully Shanon was great. He was honest about what needed to be done and the day of service he showed up promptly with another employee and they got the work done in 2 hours (an hour less than every other place quoted). My husband placed the call and was told that someone was on a call in our area and would respond as soon as he completed that service.
Within and hour we had an appointment set for 11:30. By 12:30 they had assessed, and replaced our sump pump and battery with a new one that needs no maintenance.
The gentlemen that came to do the work were just that, gentlemen. They were respectful, informative and worked efficiently.

Max, Joe and the team are wonderful and very professional! He performed a very large job at my house around 2008. It was over Christmas until New Years. He and his son did an amazing job!
