Christie was born in San Francisco and raised in beautiful Napa Valley, California. After graduating from high school, she enlisted in the Air Force, with assignments to the National Security Agency in Maryland, Misawa Japan, San Antonio and San Angelo, Texas, the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
