All guests ages 18+ who are visiting the San Francisco Gift & Jewelry Center must have a valid form of ID. Those without a valid form of ID will not be able to check-in and enter the San Francisco Gift & Jewelry Center. Gift & Jewelry Center, San Francisco's premier shopping destination, is now open to the public.
Take BART to the Civic Center Station; exit on the 8th Street side and then walk the six blocks down 8th Street to the corner of 8th and Brannan. You may also take the 19 Polk Muni bus from the corner of Market and 8th Street to 8th and Brannan. The Gift Center & Jewelry Mart is served by five Muni routes: The 19 Polk, 47 Van Ness, 10 Townsend, 27 Bryant and 12 Folsom-Pacific.

This review is mainly for the security guards in the front. I had made an appointment to shop for engagement rings with Yadav, which was a very pleasant experience, but I had never been to this place before. With that being said, I didn't know I had to bring my ID or cc. When I explained that I didn't have my physical ID, just a photo, one of the security guards rolled her eyes and had a very rude demeanor all around. After presenting the photo of my ID, they asked for my cc (which I didn't have) and again - the security guard rolled her eyes. I understand they have to take security

Large and decent mall in a convenient location. I like the direct access to the Powell BART station. The hallways and overall design of the mall are properly maintained and pleasant.
However, I have recently noticed some of the facilities (including many of the restrooms) are very run down and could use upgrading/routine maintenance.

I had bought a wedding ring from this place in 2005 for $16,000 in which I was very pleased with everything. Today 08/08/2021 I brought my daughter to shop for her ring but upon entry we were welcome with some lady name LIDIA STEVEN at the front and she was not pleasant and condescending and very rude. If I google "Idiot" I'm sure I would get a result with her face. We drove over 2 hours to visit this place and was very excited but was all ruin because her idiot ego. No fancy storefront here, but that's fine by me. Rafi and Luba gave great advice and guidance when I was looking for a unique engagement ring. The result was amazing and well worth the price, especially when compared to the fancy mass production stores. I knew I had gone to the right place when my fiance (now wife) proclaimed it was perfect - the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. To this day I catch her holding up her hand and staring at it, with a smile on her face. Unique work, fantastic people, very reasonable prices.

This is a beautiful building with a nice long bar upon entering. I was here for a private event where the building space was rented out and it was quite a party. The multi-level provides for plenty of room for several other bars/vendor and multitudes of space for checking out the surroundings and people watching.
More recently the center of the space had a few vendors from local shops selling merchandise. Kind of cool, but I wish they would've advertised outside so that more people could walk through and potentially sell more product.

These are the best jewelers in San Francisco, CA! I had a item I needed altered in a hurry and not only did they do it expertly they were also reasonably priced and incredibly nice!! They have a lot of beautiful items for sale and if you don't see what you want they do amazing custom work as well!!!

Such a cool store. Lots of neat stuff I didn't understand, but really enjoyed. Tons of knick knacks, the kind with the skull theme. Lots of jewelry. Lots of religious statues. I was drawn to it when we walked by and we spent a good 15 minutes looking around. We didn't buy anything, but I enjoyed looking around.

I love going to the gift center. I've been going every December for I don't know how many years now. Around the holidays they have day passes so you can get in. Make sure to bring ID.
They have great gold jewelry, silver jewelry, costume jewelry, fun Christmas ornaments scarves hats and diamonds. Everything is whole sale, which is absolutely amazing!
This year was really nice because the building is big and they have all the stores on one floor. So much fun. I recommend making a day of it on a Saturday Because time goes so quick while your in there. Then finding someplace locally

Off the beaten path. Essentially a huge underground jewelry store mall. The young man at the check in counter was extremely friendly and helpful. He even looked up the address and phone number for a store nearby we were looking for. If you’re looking for jewelry, I highly recommend seeing Jasmine at Giraux jewelers.

We came here looking for a good deal for some jewelry. Since it said "now open to the public". After coming here and seeing 1/4 of the stores here was close or vacant and the only store that were open was crazy busy. We waited for 15 minutes for some help at 2 of these jewelry store. But we didn't get anyone to really help us. So we end up leaving. I'm sure if you go in everyyyyyyy store you might get a good deal however

When I started engagement ring shopping last year, I was psyched to visit the Gift Center. I had a couple vendors in mind, and while they have huge selections of stones, settings, and wedding bands, the prices were not as good as rumored. I love the idea behind this center--basically, a mall format where multiple vendors offer their wares in the same building--but there are multiple logistical factors which made shopping here a very stressful experience for me.

I love this place! But which girl would not love a jewelry/accessory heaven. This place have all sorts of girly stuff: scarfs, bags, sunglasses, crystals, costume jewelry, and fine jewelry. I feel that this place have a lot of fine jewelry at a discounted price. I was told this they get their diamonds in large quantity and don't advertise that is why they can give a better price with better quality than Macy's, Kay's, Ultra Diamond and places like that.

I've always felt like you had to be special to get in yet everyone I knew had access. Once a year I would go to the Jewelrymart with my auntie for their big sale that was open to the public. We'd flash our badges and then go to town visiting each and every show room.
