May's came recommended to me through a friend. I spent some time comparing diamond prices with a couple other stores, and May's had the best value (in terms of markdown from Rapaport's). I am so happy with my engagement ring. I literally could not stop saying "holy sh**" when my fiance gave it to me. It is magnificent.
My fiance told me the entire story from start to finish of how he came to purchase the ring. I was referred to Mays by my mother, yes, my mom gave me her contact to give to him. It was the best thing I did to help him out. He went to other places and nothing compared to the ring that he purchased from May.

Came here about a year ago with the bf and checked out the gift center stores for an engagement ring and may's jewelers was one of the stores we looked at. Out of the many stores that we checked out at the gift center this one was the one with the diamond that I liked the most and with the best price. I was able to get a loose diamond and a bridal set for a very good deal. Also this place was the only place that had an actual diamond on hand of the quality that I wanted. We did our scouting at different retail & wholesalers before hearing about May. I was introduced by a friend that bought many diamonds from May, so I called for an appointment and gave her our budget, and the 4 C's before coming to see her. When we came, May did all the homework before meeting us. She provided us multiple diamond selections within our budget. Her price is very competitive, I don't think I can get anywhere else

Although my mom has been a long time customer of May's, it's very nice to know she will treat all customers as a familiar face. I've recommended my friends and colleagues to get their earrings here. The selection of diamonds are beautiful.

Hands down THE PLACE to go to for jewelry!! ESPECIALLY engagement rings and wedding bands!! BEST price for great quality diamonds! My husband and I got my engagement ring and our wedding bands here and we ALWAYS get compliments for how amazing they look! What a wonderful experience. They were one of the few stores to have even what we were looking for and it was a major purchase. They were extremely attentive and helpful and although we were looking for loose stones, they found the ideal diamond already in a setting. They happily promptly removed it for complete inspection. Even though we were comparison shopping with competitors they remained very helpful. Once we decided to make the purchase, they were able to handle the new setting along with a couple other side requests that same day, even staying late for us until 6pm. The workmanship was

1. her current hours are limited: 12.30-5pm on the weekdays, 12-4 on saturday, closed on sunday. note that sometimes she will close on saturday, so it's best to make an appt if you want to stop by on a saturday.
2. parking can be tricky,

My fiance bought me a platinum, 2 karat engagement ring from May's. The design was beautiful but the band bend 3 months after we bought it. We took it back and the manager said the diamond was too big for the band. Although we didn't understand why they would sell it to us if the design was poor, we took their recommendation to spend more money ($600) and buy a thicker band from them. One year later, the new, thicker band bent too and we even lost a diamond because it was so misshapen. We again took it back to May's, and guess what they said? We needed to buy another thick band.
