Paid $90 for two meals and an appetizer. Nothing was seasoned at all. No flavor what so ever. The wait was long and our server did not check in on us at all. Very unfortunate experience.

I had what was quite possibly the best New England Clam Chowder of my life here; it had the perfect balance of cream, flavor, and texture. Their beer selection is predominantly local and it’s a great perk that you can do flights. Their bread is fresh and served with light whipped butter. If you get lucky they had a tenderloin sandwich special for lunch that was also top notch. A must stop if you’re in the area.

The restaurant is tired and dated and the food quality was extremely poor. Im shocked it has the positive reviews it does and I question if they are legit. The truffle fries are just basic fries with cheese. The clam chowder was bagged chowder that was doctored with some bacon and was extremely salty. The Ruben was sad and inedible. My Aunt got the Turkey pot pie and it was like a turkey soup, nothing like a pot pie. The place is sad and old as was the food.

After having been informed by many positive comments about this restaurant, my wife and I were quite excited to pay a visit. My wife ordered the chicken marsala with a caeser salad, and when the salad arrived, the lettuce was brown! Needless to say we sent it back. When the chicken marsala arrived we were surprised to see that it contained zero mushrooms, and had not a hint of marsala wine and was served with wild rice! I must say it left us scratching our heads. The service was fine as was my meal but our overall experience was puzzling.

Champney's is back as an upscale elegant restaurant and good food. We had lunch on the porch for three for $85 plus tax which included Truffle Fries, two apple salads with added steak - the smaller salads were a good size, Black Angus Cheese Burger, two iced teas one coffee and one dessert of Indian Pudding. The lost star in this review is for the ungracious policy of no free iced tea refills. For the prices charged, free (effectively water) refills should be included.

Champney's is a fun place to go to sit and relax with friends. The place definitely leans heavily on its nice build-out and good customer service. The food, while definitely good, is very uninspired and simple. I'd definitely love to see more local food on the menu (it's in the middle of sprawling farmland) and some more interesting drinks.
It's a menu that is entirely 'comfort food' and vodka martinis. Boring but well executed for what it is.

We had been to a recent wedding reception and actually were having dinner with the newlyweds. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. We were not rushed with our dining. They did forget to bring out the appetizer before the meals arrived but got that rectified quickly once notified. Overall a very pleasant evening out and all the dinners were excellent, prepared well and very tasty.

Champney's has good food and great customer service. We were seated outside so we didn't get to enjoy the nice indoor ambiance but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We ordered the clam chowder, lobster roll, grilled chicken and bacon sandwich, and the B-52 chocolate mousse cake as well as a flight of local ciders. I really enjoyed their seafood offering as you can taste how fresh they were. I felt like the sandwich was fine but a bit messy. Bread got a little bit soggy with the maple syrup which confusingly didn't impart as much flavor as I would have expected. The cake was a great way
