For over 21 years, DJ-Chicago has been providing professional DJ entertainment for a wide variety of Chicagoland area events. We have entertained groups of 50 to 1000 people, ages from 8 to 80, and musical tastes ranging from 1920's Big Band to current Top 40. Our DJs have experience in a range of events from Fortune 500 corporate functions, to retail store events, to college formals, to casual private parties.

Nick (owner of DJ Chicago) dj'd our 10/16/21 wedding at Revolution Brewing's Brewers Lounge, and oh my goodness, what a fantastic night it was! My husband and I went to several other weddings in the months leading up to ours, and NO ONE'S had a dance floor that was as packed as ours. We were able to select so many great songs from the catalogue and Nick knew exactly what to play at exactly the right moments. He really was our master-of-ceremony too, communicating with all of our toast-givers prior to their toasts and checking in with us consistently throughout the night. We would hire DJ Chicago

Nick from DJ Chicago was the DJ for our costumed Halloween wedding, and I seriously cannot speak highly enough of him. Our dance floor was as active for the entire night as I've seen at any wedding, and Nick was also very on the ball in regards to making sure the scheduled dances happened according to plan.

DJ Chicago made our wedding a true party in every sense of the word. Nick was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had at the beginning. Chad was our DJ on the actual wedding day. He nailed down exactly what we wanted to hear-- from the must-play songs to the songs we knew everybody would dance to. I think at one point we had every single wedding guest on the dance floor. I have never been to a wedding where that many wedding guests actually danced, but DJ Chicago made it happen. Jason was our DJ on Sunday and was amazing - we got a lot of compliments from guests! We gave him playlists for cocktail/dinner hour and for dancing, and he arranged things to fade and mix into each other, and everything just sounded awesome. In spite of having an outdoor reception, volume was perfect at every point in the night. He was attentive to the dancing energy and faded a couple things out early when energy seemed to be dipping. Nick and Jason were both really easy to work with.

My wedding was this past Saturday, and I'm still hearing people say how great the DJ was. Nick really made the party so much fun and kept people on the dance floor all night. I didn't want to go to the bathroom and miss more great songs! He was very easy to work with in planning, was organized, kept the flow for the night moving and really knew the tone for our group. We also rented uplights that looked great in the ballroom. Would 100% recommend, and if I'm ever in need of a DJ again, know who to go to!

Wish we could give DJ Chicago and their team more than 5 stars! We got married on June 12, 2021 and used DJ Chicago for our music at both the ceremony, reception, AND afterparty. They made the whole planning process easy and smooth. Our DJ was Jordan - words cannot express how much we enjoyed having him at our wedding. He went above and beyond the whole time, music was amazing and the dance floor was packed throughout the night. We had Chris as our DJ and could not have had a better experience! He did a perfect job with timing ceremony music, doing introductions and playing a great set of music to keep the dance floor going. Just wanted to hank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for dealing with my daily updates these last few weeks as I went from 0 to 100 on the high maintenance scale. Jared our DJ was absolutely amazing. Walked into venue and started hearing some sweet sounds on the piano, I said to my bride "wow someone hired us a pianist." Nope that was Jared saw the empty piano and started playing for our guests as they arrived fir the ceremony. Don't look any further...do yourself a favor and book DJ-Chicago. They are professional, polite, funny, and organized. They REALLY know what they're doing. Gil was the DJ at our wedding and he LITERALLY kept everyone on the dance floor. Every time I looked around, the dance floor was full! My husband and I went in not knowing what kind of music we wanted and Gil just gave us a million ideas. He is literally the best.

I don't know why it took me so long to write this review, but these guys are great! Jared was the DJ at our wedding in July of 2019, and he was absolutely fantastic. One of my biggest worries going into the reception was that we would have a boring or empty dance floor, but Jared (along with our awesome bridal party) did an amazing job of keeping the party going all night. His song choices were perfect, and he incorporated songs we had requested while flawlessly moving to other options. I don't think I left the dance floor for more than five minutes the night of my wedding! We met with Nick a few months before the wedding and we knew it was a perfect fit. He understood the type of music we wanted to play and matched us perfectly with DJ John. John was the perfect MC and also kept the dance floor packed all night! He really read the audience and changed the music according the crowd, which worked out well for our wide age range at the reception. Nick did an awesome job as the DJ for our wedding! He helped us coordinate and made sure to check in with us before any major events during the wedding. We even got a handful of compliments from our guests on his music selection, and he kept the dance floor going until the very end. We didn't give him much direction on what type of music we were looking for, but he definitely had a good pulse on the crowd and catered to the group which was mostly late 20s and early 30s.

We worked with Nick for our outdoor wedding reception. We had two consultations prior to our event, one to go over high-level details (equipment needed, type of venue, general playlist, etc.) and one closer to our event to lock in final details (wedding party introductions, toasts, first songs, etc). He is amaaazing! My friends and I heard him play at one of our post test parties in med school and we were like " we HAVE to get him for our med school prom!". This was back in 2007 and we worked with him for at least two years after that. I graduated and so I'm not sure if he is still the DJ at the event, but he had a great mix of music and was one of the few DJs I know, that have taken song requests before the event!

We had Nick DJ our wedding, and I am not even kidding when I say that I didn't leave the dance floor. He asked for genres that I wanted to have played at my wedding, and he picked the perfect songs that fit those very genres. So many of my guests asked who my DJ was and how amazing he was because they also had so much fun. He's also super responsive and so easy to work with. It made wedding planning that much easier!

We have nothing but good things to say about DJ Chicago. We had our first meeting remotely with Nick and Chad -- from the beginning, they were very friendly and kind people to work with. They helped us form a good plan for the event and gave us tips and such to consider as well, which was very helpful. You can tell they're very experienced!
