Our staff is truly dedicated to our patients and will do everything in our power to ensure they lead a long and happy life, including following up with them to see how they are doing after check-ups and procedures. Dr. Shannon Moore grew up in Woodstock, IL, and started working for Dr. Shawn Costello and Dr. Charles Svoboda when she was 16 at Harvard Veterinary Clinic.

She decided to become a veterinarian after the encouragement of Dr. Shawn and Dr. Chuck. She received her undergraduate degree in 2007 and graduated with her veterinary degree in 2011 from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. It was truly a dream come true when she had the opportunity to purchase Hartland Veterinary Clinic in 2014 with Dr. Shawn and Dr. Chuck.

I didn't know Hartland was part of Harvard where are the main doctors are in Harvard Illinois and Hartland is really a good place to visit for your pets any surgery that needs to be done has to be done in Harvard otherwise I will recommend that place to anybody

Love the hometown feel, I wasn't pressed for expensive tests that would tell us what we already knew. Gave good honest advice for a resolution of care. Would definitely recommend hartland!🐶💗

Abosolutely LOVE Dr. Shannon and her staff, especially Amanda! They were so helpful, calm and professional when helping with my 6 month old puppy at a brillo pad and had to have emergency surgery. I was in a panic and they were so kind and supportive throughout the experience. Can’t say enough good things about them!!

One of the best Doctors in this area!!! I trust her with all of my pets and she always offers me options for when my pet is ill. She has been wonderful helping diagnose and treat my dog that has a thyroid condition so my pet can lead a happy healthy life!
