Back2Health: Total Fitness
Done right, an exercise regimen doesn't require a daily commitment. Under the professional direction of our certified trainers, rigorous strength training workouts 2 - 3 times per week for 30 minutes or less will get you into the best shape of your life.guaranteed! We touched on a Netflix documentary called The Magic Pill, a litlle history behind some food myths and my own nutrition philosophy.
Services
It is not an exaggeration to say that we offer unparalleled exercise instruction. Our focus is equally on safety and results, allowing the client to maximize their time with the most efficient and effective exercise sessions imaginable. We ask our clients to perform their exercise movements in a smooth, deliberate manner.
Our one-to-one personal training sessions last anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on what is to be accomplished in a given workout, and relative to the totality of one's program. While some clients perform additional exercise outside of our facility, most see us solely for their workout needs.
Besides offering general exercise instruction, we are the area's only spine-specific MedX facility. The amount of time that went into the design of these machines is staggering (literally decades), and their ability to isolate and thus strengthen the weakest link in the chain is unsurpassed. If your house has a roof that's falling in, you don't sure up the walls and foundation in an attempt to keep the roof intact.
Unlike most 'classes', we limit each session to 5 people. Each and every set performed during this brisk 30 minute workout is supervised. If a mistake is made -and humans make them from time to time - you'll be shown a better way by the very next repetition. Unlike most 'boot camps', we don't ask people to run wind sprints, throw dumbbells/kettlebells/medicine balls around, nor do anything else potentially damaging to one's joint health.
We train athletes, but we do not offer 'athletic training' due to the cost to benefit ratio. Athletic training by and large is a misguided attempt to combine sporting movements with exercise. An example of this is a baseball pitcher performing pitch-like movements attached to a weighted cable apparatus, and usually in an explosive (read: fast) manner.
