Our pediatric dental office prides itself on personalized care, serving your little ones from as early as the eruption of the first baby tooth and through adolescence. We love making kids smile, and we want every family that comes to our offices to feel comfortable. A big part of that is education and removing the unknowns - plus fun toys, games, and even movies to enjoy while waiting for treatment.
We recommend your child finds a "dental home" by age 1 to ensure their new teeth are properly cared for and that they establish good habits as early on as possible. During a child's first visit to the pediatric dentist our goal is to build a connection and to make their experience of the dentist as positive as possible.

Services
We understand how important it is that your child finds a dental home early on, and our offices were designed with an inviting atmosphere in mind. We want your child's first dental experience to be warm and fun, just as we strive to make parents comfortable with our team's expertise. You'll notice our kid-friendly aesthetic right away when you enter the office - with play areas highlighted by our mascot.
Dental cleanings are the cornerstone of good oral hygiene for kids of all ages. Not only do these visits allow hygienists to remove plaque and help keep teeth healthy, but it's an opportunity for the dentist to examine everything and teach your child healthy habits for home. We are happy to answer any questions parents have along the way, and will include parents in conversations about those healthy habits.
Pediatric sedation can be useful for when kids have trouble sitting still for extended periods of time. Some visits to the dentist can take awhile, such as filling cavities or addressing other maladies. Sedation can help with this. Nitrous oxide is the first level of sedation and the most common.
It has a calming effect and also anaesthetizes pain, which is useful for fillings, root canals, or any situation where your child may feel uncomfortable.Oral sedation is typically a pill that partially sedates patients. It's similar to nitrous in the sense that your child won't feel any pain and will be still, but can be useful as an alternative in cases where your child has a sensitivity to nitrous.

Fluoride and dental sealants are excellent preventative measures to keep your child's teeth healthy between visits. We can apply silver diamine fluoride (SDF) during each dental cleaning to help strengthen your child's teeth - just ask at the beginning of the appointment. Silver diamine fluoride is made of a mixture of water, fluoride, ammonia, and silver.
Cavities are a common malady, often brought on by sweet, sticky foods and drinks. Even sports drinks have more sugar than people often realize. Everyone's teeth are different, and some kids get cavities more easily than others - especially if their molars have deeper grooves. This can cause sugary build up to accumulate more easily and for diligent brushing to be all the more important.
