Def one of the worse blow outs I've had.
I carefully looked at the stylists reviews and instagrams to pick someone with a style I liked. When I got there and after being washed and seated I saw the persons name was different than who I booked with. I asked after the (disappointing) service why my person had been switched and no one told me. I was told scheduling issues and asked if I liked my hair. I said yes because at that point I had to GO.
The actual blowout: took just about an hour which is long--I've had better blowouts in much less time. I said I wanted Voluminous flowing hair

I've visited twice for blowout and makeup. The first was my outdoor bridal shower and the second was my zoom wedding in 2020. They did an amazing job both times. The style was exactly what I asked for and the look lasted for hours in the heat and humidity. You can trust the girls to do a good job and be safe while doing so!

I’ve been coming here for years for blowouts. Prices are good and the stylists always do a great job! I have long, very thick, curly hair and my last two haircuts I did with Crystal have been great! She listens to what I like and has amazing technique with my hair type. Highly recommend Crystal to curly hair girls.

Had an appointment with Crystal for a blowout for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had graduation photos right after and she exceeded my expectations for what I wanted. This is for a make-up review.
I had engagement photos planned and needed someone to do my make-up. I am not someone who wears make-up on a regular basis and really did not even know what to ask for. Nicole was really incredible. I showed her some pictures of eye make-up that I really liked, and she did that + more! She even added eyelashes, which I was reallllly nervous about, but they looked awesome!!
I was so happy with the way my make-up turned out and know it will look great in our photos! Thanks Nicole, I will absolutely be back!!

After moving to Hoboken, I was very reluctant to start going to a new hair dresser. I met one of the stylists (Dez Velez, Owner) in the community, and scheduled my first appointment. Let's just say not only do these girls know what they are doing, they are so personable and have become my go-to spot. They know how to cut, color and do wonders with a blow dryer!!!! This place feels like home!

Update: Blo-it-out has since looked into this further and took the time to reach out to me and let me know there was an error in their system and my gift card was not actually expired (as they do last a year). I've been refunded and they've made up for the mistake, so I'll be taking up their offer to come back and enjoy another blowout. Appreciate the follow up and customer service I've been given!

I still give my experiences 5 stars. Zonia took care of me as I went from black/red to blonde and I'm so so happy with how my hair feels and looks! I get so many compliments and I'm honestly so happy to trust Blo-it-out with my hair. I always love my blowouts and I always have an amazing time. Lorrie and team are so amazing and are always making sure that everything runs smoothly and people are enjoying their services. I haven't had anyone touch my hair in 5 years and I'm so happy to have trusted them with my hair.

Best haircuts! Not only do they do great blowouts but also amazing hair cuts! I live in NYC but I come all the way to Hoboken to see Dez. You really cant go wrong with any of the staff tho! It's a small business so everything feels extra individualized and they really care about their clients and their work! 10/10 recommend

Crystal gave me my first Keratin treatment back in the spring and I couldn't have been happier. She spent a lot of time teaching me about what it does, how to maintain it and answered any questions I had about the overall process. The outcome was outstanding. My hair has never looked better and I just went back for my second treatment!

Extremely unprofessional environment. Stylists working there are constantly chatting amongst each other (loudly) and has no regards for the clients. Talking not-so-nice-things about other clients after they leave, making evening plans and deciding who is coming when and where, discussing whether the stylist should go on Tinder or not, the kind of men she wants to go out with - these were some of the conversations I had to listen to while getting my hair done. I also had to listen to the stylist huffing and puffing about how she is so done for the day and just wants to go home - while she was doing

They were able to fit me in last minute without making me feel rushed! My updo was everything that I wanted, and the girl doing my hair even did a quick "mock up" so I could see how what I described to her would look in case I wanted to change anything. Happy I came across this place and will definitely be back!

I did the deep conditioning and a blow out - both with Catherine. The receptionist wasn't particularly friendly when I walked in and just kept looking at her computer without acknowledging me for a minute, but they took me back quickly and a few minutes before my scheduled appointment.
