Dr. Butterfield is a native of Seattle. She received both her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Washington. Dr. Butterfield was a clinical instructor at the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. She has been in private, family dental practice since 1984.

The Team at Dr Pam's office makes sure from Sherry and Team up front to Dr Pam and Team in the back that all goes as scheduled. Today was my cleaning and Caitlyn always makes the visit comforting with chat about what's going on and what I have been doing since last visit. She is always professional and making sure of my comfort while working on my teeth. Highly recommend this office and Team of professionals.

This is what superb patient care looks like in a dental practice. It is not only clear that they care about patient welfare, they also care about each other and it shows. Humor, time (no rushed procedures here), professionalism, and state of the art equipment are just some of the obvious things you’ll note on your very first visit. My better half told me to try these guys and I am so glad she did (I have a history of anxiety related to dental ‘care’ in far-flung places).

This was my first visit to the office today. My interaction with the staff was a fun pleasant experience. Any anxiety I had about going to the dentist quickly disappeared. I will say the amount of time and attention Dr. Butterfield spent with me far exceeded my expectations. I truly feel lucky to have found this office. I highly recommend. My first exam consisted of dental x-rays, a full 360 picture of my teeth, periodontal pocket chart, and an oral cancer screening.

Extremely through friendly and professional. Location is very East to get to from several directions. Staff is also super friendly and attentive. Very calming atmosphere and no pressure. Adorable doggy in the front end of the house who loves a good hello as well. I would refer this dentist to anyone of all ages as well as people with anxiety or fear of dentist work. I felt relaxed and at ease and comfortable. Also no funny dentist smell when you walk in. Cute little cubby for the kids with toys and a nice warm fireplace in the lobby to sit next to and read the paper which they have out waiting

Last year, I relocated to the Kent area, and wanted to find a dentist that was local, and had good reviews, good appointment scheduling, and convenient parking... Low and behold, Dr. Butterfield was waiting for me.

Dr. Pam has been my dentist for over 13 years and I can't imagine going to a different one! With an all women staff, Dr. Pam's staff is gentle, caring, and fun. I have never had anything but the most pleasant experience with each visit.
Plus, they're dog friendly and have a black lab, Pippa, to pet while you wait!

My family is a dental family, my father, my uncles and my brother were all dentists. So I have been to quite a number of dental offices over my vast number of years. In my humble opinion, this is the BEST dental office I have every been to or seen.. Dr. Butterfield is a great dentist, very client minded and a wonderful person. Melissa, Sandra were great and gave me one of the best dental cleanings I have had in ages. The wonderful office assistants were welcoming, and friendly Pippa was an added plus. So if you want to have a wonderful experience of a lifetime and start to love going to the dentist

Good people and friendly staff. Pam appears too busy to spend much time with each patient though. She seems very competent however. Would rate her much higher except for the relentless pressure to get additional work done. They tried to put me on a schedule to replace all my fillings. I continue to receive calls from her staff reminding me to come in to get all that unneeded work done. Feels almost like she is running a timeshare sales business and not a dental office. Learn how to politely say no thanks if you go to her.

I go back with Dr. Pam a long ways (when she was an intern!). Quite honestly, she is the best dentist. She listens, she is technically sound, and has very small hands which are a big plus for patients! Her hygenist is very gentle and really puts you at ease when you are in the chair and she is working on you. Outstanding practice!

Seriously upset. I called to schedule an appointment and told them while scheduling the appointment to make sure my insurance was valid. When i arrived a few weeks later, i asked if my insurance was fine and they said yes.
Got a regular cleaning which was NOTHING like the experience i'd received during my last check up. I used to like this place because they would clean my teeth really well but this time was rushed and not thorough. Seemed to take half the time it usually takes for a cleaning. The lady was nice though so I let it go.

When I first met Dr Butterfield she immediately (first visit, right after the handshake) pointed out the white spots on my teeth and told me that with new technology they could make them disappear. I felt like she tried to "upsell" me on lots of things by making me self conscious about my flaws which I had never really cared about before. I didn't feel like her or her staff cared about anything but getting more money. I pointed out that after getting a filling that my bite guard no longer fit right and I was told that they could not fix it and that I would have to pay 300 dollars
