I grew up attending Long Hill Chapel with my family. Not only were we members of the church, but I myself also attended this very preschool as a child. As an alum, and now the director, I can confidently say that this preschool has the same qualities it had when it was first established. The small class sizes paired with student discovery and creativity is something every preschooler needs.

Services
Our Sunbeams class is for 2 and 2.5 year old children who are ready for extended time in preschool. We have a limited space for young 2s. This toddler class bustles with activity. The children enjoy learning through sensory, hands-on, play experiences. Our program places an emphasis on social interactions, choice, and cooperation in a loving, Godly environment.
Our 3 year old class is made up of active learners who enjoy investigation, exploration, and discovery as they refine and expand their skills and knowledge. Through individualized instruction, multi-sensory activities, small group play, and large group learning environments, we build children's faith, confidence, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
These inquisitive older preschoolers are honing their skills and preparing for Kindergarten. As they seek independence, we encourage cooperation, giving hearts, and Godly character.
Our developmentally-appropriate, hands-on approach ensures that children are exposed to a diverse array of learning activities in core pre-academic areas such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other essential areas including spiritual, physical, social, and emotional well being.The children in the Sparks class enthusiastically engage in purposeful and spontaneous play, in conjunction with tasks supported and guided by a teacher.

Since 1973, LHCP has been providing children with an engaging early childhood experience. We have created a curriculum that fosters curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving skills through play. This curriculum boosts brainpower through making choices and questioning. These strategies help develop confidence, positive self-identity and an excitement for learning.
Providing the children daily large motor activities is important to us. Our wonderful outdoor and indoor play spaces enables us to provide this much needed activity on a daily basis regardless of weather. The use of the gym also enables us to offer special activities, such as Sports Classes right on premise after school.
