Todd's Place LLC opened in 2005 doing auto repair and transmission repair and rebuilds. We also ran the self serve car wash at 707 S. Red Bud Tr., Buchanan, Mi. In 2014 we were bursting at the seams and moved to 701 S. Red Bud Tr. Buchanan. We no longer have the car wash but have added selling tires, performing alignments, full-service auto repair, and transmission work.

This is easily the most unprofessional shop I have ever dealt with. The value for customer satisfaction is insanely low. The woman on the phone told me a transmission repair should take 7 to 10 days and that it would probably be 2-3 weeks and it would be done.. I've called back 3 times to check on the time they didnt even call me when they finished inspecting the vehicle, I had to call them. After 3 very rude phone calls and one month after inspections, I am 4 weeks into a rental car. Over a thousand in cash down the drain. I called to see the status and they tell me at least 2 or 3 more weeks

I dont know. Ive had mixed experiences. He can fix easy stuff for sure but he had one of my friend's car for over a month, didnt fix it and still expected to be paid. I know it was sorta his fault for not taking charge of his car but i still think he was cheated. I think the business could be run better. I wont trust him again. He's super busy too and they are really informal.

Nice people idk they failed to put my underbody protection cover back on my truck and did not install transmission brace bolts all the way and I had to call to get the underbody protector back.
otherwise everything else is great transmission shifts smoother than it every has and I've had not issue mechanically with anything they had done
and price was extremely reasonable

No need to go anyplace else.... Todd has maintained and repaired our American and Foreign cars and truck for years and NEVER had to return for correction. Todd is a Master auto transmission craftsman and fair prices too. 5 Stars!

Todd's place has always did well by me. He knows I only have one car and gets it fixed as soon as he can. He a very busy man because he's a good mechanic along with who he has working for him.

Todd is the best mechanic i have worked with. He is very honest. His price to fix your car is reasonable. Replacing engines and transmission is his cake. Higly recommended. He has worked on my 2 cars one replaced motor another one trans.all drives perfectly.
