Best mechanic shop if you are a woman or female presenting. Like O'Reilly's they are staffed by grandpas and uncles that really want to see the world have safer cars on the road than just making a buck. I always go there first unless it is an emergency and sure enough only when i take it to anotber mechanic in emergency is when i get ripped off.

I can say so many things positive about this place but truthfully you’ll instantly know and feel the honesty plus ethics they have once you stop/call in to talk with someone. They’re always precise with their quotes/time frames, ethical, honest, easy to talk with and personable. I’m glad a place like this still exists around a slew of slightly ‘disconnect’ chain/franchise Auto Shops.

Jeff instantly guessed what problem my Subaru had when I first described it—when the dealer wanted to charge me three times the going rate for a different so-called "fix"—without mentioning this common, cheap problem (a loose heat shield). And they also found a blocked AC drain I hadn't known about. Excellent, friendly, professional service right in downtown SB. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Plus really pretty monster goldfish.

These guys were recommended to me by several friends. They were very fast, helped me understand what I needed and what I could live without, and on my request they took the time to look for a cheaper part (because the car won't be running 10 more years anyway). On top of that they are very friendly and kept me updated.

I have been here on 2 occasions for major car malfunctions. I trust them enough for an oil change and that's about it. They have given ridiculous quotes and I have taken my car TWICE for a second and third opinion and the other places told me they were ripping me off. They are very friendly, but clearly not honest.

These guys are great. They provide complete auto service as well as sell tires. They are honest, dependable and thorough. They will keep you posted about things that will need attention in the future so you can plan ahead. I recommend them without reservation as i have with many friends who are now customers.
