Carolina Hair Studios is a growing, upscale and dynamic hair, makeup and nail studio located in the bustling center of Downtown Columbia. We are always interested in meeting talented new stylists and technicians to discuss career opportunities. If you're interested in being considered for an open position, please contact us for an interview appointment.
When entering for your appointment you will be taken to your seat to be serviced immediately. There will be little conversation due to service time. Please prebook for an appointment and put your specific requests in the comments section and add on all extra services needed at this time. Masks will be required when entering the studio.

IF YOU HAVE NATURAL HAIR DONT GO HERE. The combing and detangling was done with a small toothed brush and was not Pleasant. Booking my appointment I asked if the stylist would be able to do a halo braid and I was assured that that was the style that I would receive. See picture attached. She said that she was not able to do a tight braid I wish I had known that before and I would’ve canceled my appointment. Very expensive for the “style” received. Do not recommend.

Tia is a color master! Today she gave me purple mermaid hair to celebrate Epilepsy Awareness Month. I have never felt so Beautiful with the cut and colorful hair I walked out with. I instantly started getting compliments. First time I came in my hair was part blonde part red after a diy color disaster with my roots showing about 4 inches of gray. She gave me the most beautiful emergency color job in a deep red. Ron did an amazing cut. The price is so reasonable for the talent. I can't say enough great things.

I live in Greenville SC and had my wedding in Columbia SC. I booked my appointment online and was nervous as I usually use my same hair stylist but they were unavailable prior to my wedding. I have multiple long scars on my scalp from skull surgery and weird cowlicks which makes cutting my hair especially difficult. But wow, I had one of my best haircuts of my life. Despite my nerves going into it, the end product was fantastic and my wedding photos were amazing as a result. She also trimmed my beard and lined it up on my neck and I got so many compliments on the haircut and the styling of my beard

Cute studio located in the heart of downtown Columbia. Competitive prices were not bad considering location. Appointment was @ 11 and did arrive 7 minutes late due to parking. Young man with dreads at the front desk was courteous upon my arrival and ended up completing my shampoo. It was a great experience. My haircut was completed by Tia. Super sweet personality and seasoned stylist who knows what she’s doing. 4 stars because she was obviously overbooked. I understand salons and realize they usually do come with a wait. However, I felt she was a little rushed. Haircut still came out great and

I had an appointment at Carolina’s a few weeks ago and I had a great experience! I was running a little late and they waited on me! On top it f that, I had a great experience. I am out of town and getting your colored by someone other than your regular hairdresser can be risky. I gave Caroline a chance, and I loved it! She covered my grays and gave me advice for my next hair appointment. Before I left? I made my follow-on appointment! I will request a trim and another root touch-up! Thank you Caroline for such a great experience!!

I think that I have finally found a great hairstylist. Tia went above and beyond to make my experience in her salon relaxing, and comfortable! This was my first visit, but it won't be my last!!
