Al and I go back awhile. In the time that Al has been cutting my hair, we have become good friends. I cannot think of a nicer person than Al and as far as his ability to know exactly how I like my hair cut, Al is a natural perfectionist. In everything he does from flying remote controlled Jets to styling ones hair. I am amazed how focused he is when doing things he loves and that's one of the reason I admire him.

Looking for a new hair dresser when I moved nearby, I look for input by real people on these types of websites/apps. Called to make my appointment and was scheduled with Al. When I checked in for my appointment I recognized it was Al who had scheduled me over the phone. Haircut was not good but I figured I'd learn how to style it. Went to pay and he told me he knew I was told the cost of a haircut when I called (I wasn't) - it was over $200. For a haircut only. My hair grew back out. I never went back, obviously.

There is a reason Al gets 5 star reviews. I moved here from NY and for 17 years had the same master stylist (people came from different states to see my NY guy). Anyway, I was super nervous about finding someone equally as masterful. On the first visit, Al gave me a haircut that met my expectations 85%. A week later, I texted asking him to make adjustments and he fit me in on a day that he was fully booked (Saturday) because I'm leaving to LA on Monday. He was super kind and accommodating. The haircut after the revision exceeded, surpassed my expectations. And he charges less than HALF

So happy that we’ve met Ali! He is a fantastic professional and a great man! I have 8 years old daughter who refused to cut her hair till last year. At some point she wants to do coloring, so I’ve introduced her to Ali and we started our journey:) During this year with Ali’s help she changed her style several times. I moved to Orange County three years ago and always looking for a hairstylist who Can challenge with my rough hair. I tried many other salons in orange county until I know this place. Since then I am so happy with my hair styles I did hair cut at the beginning as long I trust AL, I do my Japanese hair straightening and my color, he did amazing job on my hair I'm so happy since I know AL and he does my hair I never go anywhere else for my hair Highly recommend him to everybody who is sensitive about Their hair

Evey step from consultation to the finished product was perfect! Al did an amazing job with my daughter's difficult hair. He was very careful with the condition of her hair. He took time during the process to educate my daughter and myself on the continued care. I was so shocked how shiny and smooth it turned out!

I've been here twice for color/highlight & haircut, and I am very satisfied with the result each time. Al is not only a hair stylist, but an artist with taste and vision. You can trust his sense of style & it wont go wrong cuz he knows how to make you look perfect. But if you are a little too stubborn when it comes to your specific color or style, like I am, no worries either! Because I really liked how he delivered what I asked for, and at the end, he also gave me ideas for some quick & effortless style. He's got sense of humor too which, in my opinion, is always a nice

So I was expecting a VIP to visit my office at the last minute. I needed a haircut so I could look presentable for our bosses boss. I called Al up and he was booked up. Instead of saying he couldn't cut my hair he went into work early to give me a haircut. Truly a dedicated man with an awesome work ethic; willing to go above and beyond for his clients when they are in a crunch!

Japanease Straight-I was impressed with AL's skill and excellent work; he was very patient and took great care of my hair. I had the Japanease Straight on my fine, but extremely curly (Jamaican) hair and it came out perfectly straight and healthier than ever. I highly recommend AL to anyone who wants the best!

This place is overpriced. I see the way they process people's hair. They just want the look. They don't care how they do it. They destroy your hair and they charge you ridiculous price. I feel like a fool after waited around for 4 hours, got hair trimmed straight by half an inch and paid $70. I don't need a professional hair stylist to do a simple job like that.

I decided to book an appointment with Ali only after I called him to confirm that he used the Yuko system. He said yes. This Yuko system was further mentioned several times on his website and Facebook page in great detail. Great! I thought. I am paying a lot of money for a high value product and I'll get stick straight hair.

After a year still going to Ali for both my son and my hair. He does a great job listening and is very accurate. His real skill though is asking him what you "should" do with your hair. Tell him how much effort you are willing to invest each day and he is able to see how your hair acts with that much effort and give great advice. Me personally, I want no product and less then 5 minutes. He was able to take my laziness and find a way to change what I did every day with much better results. He is a great value.

Ali has been my, my brother, AND my father's hair stylist for more than a decade - for me, even after moving to NYC and I couldn't be happier with the results. Been serviced by others in the NY area but have yet to find anyone out there that attends to my hair with the same level of precision as Ali who always gives my hair a very stylish look that gets me many compliments.
Been coming back once a month to his establishment to ensure I get the cut I like. He's also an amazing and very friendly guy - highly recommend for younger and older alike.
