I have been coming to this salon for years. It says a lot when I drive/fly all the way from the Bay Area to see Aldo. He does a phenomenal job, and I only trust him to do my hair. If he was across the country I'd probably fly there too. Haha. I have so much trust that he already knows what I like with my hair, and I don't even have to tell him. I agree with the other reviewer the salon is very pricey and wouldn't recommend, they list or give you one price on phone and after the service is done, in the bill they quote very high, not even close to the mentioned price.

This salon is pricey and pricing always fluctuates based upon who you speak with... A price for a specific service will be provided by phone then after service is completed Aldo will state a substantially higher price.

Aldo is the best! He did my son's hair and he couldn't be happier! My son showed him a pic on his phone and Aldo worked his magic. Super talented!

Kelsey is the Best, I am naturally dark hair and with Kelsey and her amazing talent I am a blonde. I got my hair colored with 3 inches of regrowth and she made it look so pretty after she was done. I am so grateful to her and her team !! For making me free Beautiful again.

Got my hair cut and dyed by Ruby! Wanted ash brown and she delivered! Plus its at a great price. 180 for a cut and dye. Definitely worth all the great work she does. Everyone in the salon is super laid back and funny and poke jokes at each other. Will definitely be coming back!

First timer to this salon and was immediately greeted like family here! Everyone here was so cool and chill. Although my stylist was laid back and easy going, he surely amazed me with his expertise. I've been coming to AKA for years now, and while I've bounced from stylist to stylist based on availability Kelsey is by far my favorite. She's always incredibly friendly and we share tons of laughs while she perfectly covers my roots and even takes the time to color my brows as well.

The entire team is always having a ball! Laughing and joking with each other, it's just a super fun environment to be in while receiving the best possible salon services.

Can’t rave about Aldo at AKA Salon enough!!
I went to him with damaged lifeless dull hair and he worked his magic and was able to bring it back to life!
First time I went in, he beautifully balayaged my brittle hair and restored it’s luster with a Brazilian blowout. My hair then took 1/4 of the time to dry and looked amazing out of the shower.
The second time, I decided to go darker for the fall and he seamlessly matched the previous blonde to my roots. He also gave me a trendy lob to get rid of all the previous damage. My hair has never grown faster or looked healthier!!!

Aldo gave me a GREAT haircut! I have thick frizzy long hair. He didn't cut too much off on my length like I like but he did thin out my hair like I need and want. I've gotten lots of compliments because now my hair falls around my face perfectly! I am so happy!

So I'm traumatized when it comes to hair salons, I have bad luck when it comes to someone doing my hair. No one EVER listens to want I want for some reason. I FINALLY found someone who did exactly what I wanted and I will never go anywhere else! Aldo is amazing and he goes above and beyond! I go an hair cut by Aldo. He understood exactly what I wanted, it looks perfect, and my husband told me it was the best haircut I got since he met me! Also everybody is nice and friendly there, really good place to go!

Aldo is the best with anything that has to do with hair. I have been getting my hair done with him for almost 5 years and have also turned several of my friends (and strangers) on to him as well. He strives to make his clients happy and I'm quite positive he pleases every single time.

I came in on a Friday afternoon to do my hair. I wanted to do a balayage and showed him a picture of guy tang's work that I liked. Aldo let me know that my hair wouldn't get as blonde as in the picture, but he assured me he'd create something pretty. After about 3.5 hours, I was finally done! I must say I wasn't pleased with my hair, since I thought it didn't look like I got it done at a salon. I think it was a bit too subtle. Many of my friends told me that Aldo was really good at blending colors so I made an appointment... And guess what!!! It's a fact! He is so cool and awesome. I really love how my hair turned out because I was afraid that my hair wouldn't take the bleach, but it did!! I asked Aldo for a grayish/silver tone and he did it! He made it happen! He knows what he's doing for sure. He's really easy to talk to and so chill throughout the hair session!! Sophia and Aldo talked to me throughout the time being so it wouldn't be so quiet and awkward. I learned that Sophia and Aldo we
