A Child's Academy is a dedicated preschool, VPK, and after school care provider. Our staff has extensive experience working with a wide range of age groups & personality types. We are committed to learn, teach & grow with your child. A Child's Academy is Gainesville Florida's premier provider of caring, professional preschool, child care and daycare services.

ACA offers extensive preschool programs to select from in order to ensure that we can adeptly fill our parents' needs no matter what they may be. A Child's Academy provides the best childcare services in Gainesville FL. We offer preschool, after school, VPK, summer camp programs, and more! A Child's Academy is Gainesville Florida's top choice for professional preschool, child care, and daycare services.
Services
A Child's Academy sits on more than 11 acres, with fenced-in playgrounds for each age group, providing safety, security, and room to have fun. The two buildings encompass a spacious auditorium, the only of its kind in the area's preschools and childcare facilities Built originally as a school, the facility is not a retrofit of a retail space or an exaggerated afterthought that is more flash than function.
At A Child's Academy, your baby gets extra-special care. Our Infant Room was designed with safety and comfort in mind. We also seek to provide valuable stimulation when your baby is awake and alert, to promote essential development. Babies play, listen to stories, and interact with teachers and caregivers.
Whew, you made it! For many parents this is the beginning of including others outside of your immediate family for help. It is a big step and we do not take this lightly. It is important that you feel as comfortable with A Child's Academy (or whomever you choose) as though we were your family. Each toddler is an active participant in their care giving.
Older toddlers and 2-year-olds are at an age during which their awareness and curiosity of the surrounding world lead them to develop motor skills, communication skills and a greater interest in creative play and social interaction. Such age-appropriate milestones form the basis of our Twos program which is specifically geared toward 2-year-old children.
Pre-Kindergarten children need to investigate new interests and experiences. Pre-K'ers build a foundation for lifelong learning through play, exploration, trial and error, and gain independence and self-confidence with their growing abilities, while achieving readiness skills needed for kindergarten.

Whatever you do… please don’t send your child here. They are the most dishonest people. You can never get someone to pick up the phone during the day and they are frauds!!!! I was took my child out of the school and I asked to make sure of the process so I wasn’t penalized. They ended up taking my security deposit even though I did exactly what I was told but then they wanted to say because of there contract I can’t get my money back. What school takes security deposit’s anyway…. Like your renting a home or something. It’s a dirty looking school as well. They have this personality

RAT INFESTED, TEACHERS A INCENTIVIZED TO LIE TO PARENTS. There's a chronic understaffing so older children are with younger so your 2 year old will be bullied but there's not enough teachers to stop all of it while doing their jobs. Also, teachers with NO BACKGROUND CHECK ARE LEFT ALONE WITH CHILDREN. Please, if you care about the safety of your children, do not leave them with these money hungry people (the owners) who care more about maintaining their relationship than the children.

Please don’t send your children here. It is not a safe place. I asked questions diligently before sending my kid such as safety, like doors being locked to outside, safe sleep which Becky said the right answers but were just lies which I found out day 1. I had zero updates the first day my child was there for six hours and after calling three times. It was very scary. Her forms from the end of the day about diaper changes, mood, and feedings were never fully filled out. My child had 3 different teachers in 2 days. She was screaming when I picked her up the second day. We didn’t take her back

A Childs Academy has been a true blessing to my family. I have 4 kids and all 4 of my children are ACA children. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive to the children and my children are always eager to go and learn and grow. The teachers at ACA really makes you feel like they really do care(and they do) about your children more than just they are another child. I have not met one Teacher at ACA that I felt uncomfortable leaving my children with. I have a great rapport with not only the teachers at ACA but also the owners as well. As busy as they are Kevin and Ms. Becky has always taken

Best daycare Experience my kids have ever had. My kids attended for several years from infant until age 4. My children love the school. I had to relocate to another part of town and my younger kids missed out of spending the rest of their daycare years at ACA. My now 5 year old constantly will ask to be taking back to ACA to visit her old teacher's.

Both of my little girls were moved from a poorly run facility to A Child's Academy. I can tell you from experience, A Child's Academy cares for your little one! I was in the military with my first born and have seen my fair share of different DayCares and PreSchools. I can tell you that no one is perfect but I feel my girls are getting the BEST at A Child's Academy. *** Financially, I have never had a problem with the communication between myself and the administrators. If there ever was a problem, the owners were very attentive to my needs.

We absolutely LOVE this facility. Watching over the last year, we could not wait for our son to graduate out of the one year old class into the twos simply because of the teacher we would be getting. Ms. Heather is beyond fantastic. She’s warm, welcoming, and always engaging. The children can feel her love and enthusiasm for them to learn and respond accordingly. My son is always bragging about an art project or something fun they’ve done, he now looks forward to his morning drop offs.
My four month old is in the infant class with Ms. JUNE AND MS. Anna. Both of whom are outstanding. Ms. June

I have my 6 month old and 3 years old at A Childs Academy and we Love it there.
My 3 year old was an infant when we enrolled. They are clean, caring, responsible, dependable and they follow my schedule that I want for my children. The baby room is awesome, my children are always happy and love their teachers.
All the teachers are well trained and they treat my children like they are theirs.
My 3 yr. old learns something new every day and she is always singing new songs to me. They have great programs during the year for the parents. My husband and I always look forward to the Christmas program
