The Academy Preschool at The Family Church is partnering with parents to raise up loving, confident and godly children. The Academy offers a well educated staff including multiple bilingual teachers.
Every classroom will have one teacher in charge (and one assistant, if needed), according to the children's ages and the classroom size. At The Academy we use the state approved curriculums Learning Every Day (1's and 2's), Early Literacy and Learning Model/Plus (3's and 4's) and the Christian curriculum A Beka Book (Elementary ages).

This Academy has been a blessing to our family. I have a second son currently enrolled in their VPK program. The love the staff has show our boys has warmed our hearts. Mr. Loren has helped us teach our boys about Jesus which we truly appreciate. Ms. Betty has shown both our boys so much patience and kindness. Ms. Marcella and staff are professional and loving. Their VPK program is an excellent means to prepare kids for kindergarten.
I highly recommend the Academy for families looking for a loving Christian environment where their children can learn and grow.

When COVID-19 put Alachua County in lockdown, the Academy team did everything possible to continue to serve their families, many of which are healthcare workers that were still being counted on to work. The teachers are kind, loving, and patient. They were awesome with my two boys for the past year.

The academy daycare is my second family. My daughter has been there almost 4 years. My commute is complicated but the effort is worthy because I am totally sure that it is taken care of, loved and safe. In addition, his new VPK program is varied, fun and complete. Communication with the teachers is fluid and its director Sandy Baker takes into consideration any suggestions or concerns from parents. I recommend it 100%

My daughter has been at The Academy for 2 years and loves it! She looks forward to going everyday and runs in to hug her teachers. You can tell the teachers are happy to be there and there is a positive attitude throughout the whole building everyday. She is not just being "babysat" there, she is being invested in and learns so much... can't imagine her being anywhere else!

The Academy Preschool is a top-notch school for children. My son has spent four years at the school. He is very well-prepared for kindergarten and has received a tremendous amount of love and attention from the teachers and staff. I would highly recommend the school to anyone who wants a safe, loving, learning environment for their child.

The Academy Preschool is not only a wonderful school to bring your child to learn but a safe place to allow them to grow. The Academy is a place of nurture in all aspects of life. Furthermore, director Sandy Baker brings a warm Godly leadership to T.A.P that can be felt in the hallways. All in all a genuinely lovely school.

I love each and everyone of the teachers at this preschool. My daughter wakes up every morning excited to go. She is very happy at this preschool. Misty is incredible. She is exciting and full of energy and welcomes the children as they come in. We are Blessed to have such loving and caring people to care for our daughter.
