Services
Craig Albright is the Hospital Manager here at Southfork Animal Hospital. They have two children, a golden retriever - Casey, and a cat - Oliver. Some of Craig's hobbies include biking, kayaking, outside activities, and anything related to exercising. She has a dog named Nacho and three cats - Snots, Neiko, and Luna.
Southfork Animal Hospital is pleased to offer a complete range of health care services for all of our neighbors in Lakeville and the surrounding area. Scroll down to learn more about our veterinary services. We typically see our patients on an appointment basis. Our client service team will attempt to accommodate all appointment requests as best we can during clinic hours.
They have been through the ups and downs of our pets allergies, illnesses and whatever else they have had over the years. Their communication alone is the best. They will call you back with any questions you have and really take the time to explain things to you. They stick to your appointment times and get you in and out.
We are looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to add to our team. The candidate must be passionate about pet care and client service. They must enjoy surgery and anesthesia, dental treatments and radiography along with laboratory procedures and client education. We are a group that enjoys what we do and appreciates and values each other's hard work.
Please Note: With the high demand for wellness appointments and needing to be able to see sick pets - if you do NOT SHOW UP for your scheduled appointment there will be a $35 fee assessed to your account. Cancellations do happen but we ask for common courtesy and giving us the greatest amount of notice possible.

We had recently moved into town and they were able to get us in quickly to have our senior dog seen. On our arrival the staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. We felt very comfortable bringing our dog there and would highly recommend!

Worst Vet Clinic I have ever been too. Instead of Dr. Schanck and her team looking into what was wrong with my dog they suggested I put her down. I spent thousands of dollars at this vet only to have to go to another vet to have another opinion. Found out my dog had fluid around her heart. Once we put her on the correct meds I have my dog back. Glad I didn't follow the advice of putting her down. I asked for some refund back because of how much money was spend and was told they wouldn't do that. Nothing but money hungry owners makes me sick to know you treat animals or don't treat them. I hope

The entire staff at Southfork has exceeded our expectations the past couple months. We are new patients and have a dog with some behavioral issues, and they have been so helpful and accommodating with our many phone calls, happy visits, and various appointments. They did everything they could to make our visits comfortable, and were so patient and kind when our dog wasn't cooperating. Thank you to the whole team and special shoutout to Jenna!

I specifically am writing this review to rave about this clinic. I'm a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due, and critique where it's needed. Southfork, especially during these times, has been more than accomodating. What may be objectively a small problem, but as a pet owner, the biggest of emergencies, it doesn't matter with this clinic. They will literally go out of their way to make sure you and your pet are comfortable, and get taken care of as soon as possible.

Have been a customer on and off for 20 years....I am finally done forever....they have many weird money grubbing policies....are often very rude on the phone...and are much more expensive than many other places...I would not recommend to anyone...I have found other places that don't treat their customers that way....not quite as convenient but well worth a few extra miles.

Woke up this morning to find our ferret in distress....we don't have a regular vet yet in the area since we just moved here a couple months ago, took him to Southfork where they did everything they could for him. Unfortunately he passed but the doctors and techs etc were absolutely the kindest, sweetest and most supportive people to deal with. So understanding!
We will definitely be using them for our dogs in the future.
