Welcome to Children's Village, a child care and preschool program operated by Vision House, a Christian nonprofit. We have two locations: our Renton location enrolls children from infant to school age and our new Shoreline location is currently enrolling school age children in our before and after care program.
Our mission is to provide every child with a loving, nurturing, Christ centered environment where your child builds positive relationships with others and fosters a love of learning. We invite you to take a virtual tour of one of our child care centers as you review our website. You will learn about the quality of our program, our lower ratios, the high qualifications and training of our teachers, and our passion for quality.

Services
Motivated by their strong Christian convictions, John and Susan Camerer founded Vision House in 1990. The couple was moved to help the homeless after seeing a heartbreaking television portrayal of a single mother who became homeless due to no fault of her own and was forced to place her daughter in the care of the state because she could not care for her while living on the streets.
Children's Village teachers serve as loving guides and models to children, providing examples of positive relationships and instilling a love of learning. They prepare children with the skills, abilities and motivation that will help them to understand, grow, and thrive in the world.
All of the Teachers have a minimum 30 hours of Child Care Basic training and receive 10 hours of either training review or ongoing early child care education every year. Most hold degrees in Early Child Care Education.

Children's Village in Renton uses Teaching Strategies Gold, which is an interactive curriculum that focuses learning around the interest of the children. The school also uses Ages & Stages, which provides reliable, accurate developmental and social-emotional screening for children between birth and age 6.
At Children's Village each child is viewed as an individual with limitless potential. We under-stand that cognitive, physical and spiritual milestones can be reached at each child's own special pace. To foster a child's curious nature and build on it an innate love for learning, we have established the following goals focused on your child's development.
