We absolutely love our community and the patients we serve. Our goal is to provide our patients with the most comprehensive dental options as well as the latest dental services and techniques available. It is important to us that our patients are comfortable and have an enjoyable visit at our office.

Whether you need a smile makeover or a hygiene appointment, our experienced team and I look forward to meeting you and assisting with any dental concerns you may have. When you have a tooth that really hurts, going to your dentist is high on your priority list, so I called Dr. Pratt's office and made an appointment for an X-ray.
Services
Many have asked why I do certain things one way over another. While there are many ways to meet your dental needs, my goal is to accomplish those needs with the most modern and up to date methods and materials. There are four main guidelines I follow while considering your oral health. Dental work should look like it grew there.
Dr. Pratt completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University where he majored in Microbiology and Spanish. He continued his post graduate, dental education, at the University of Louisville. He has practiced dentistry for over 20 years and ran a very successful practice in the Boise area for 10 of those years.
For major surgery, we refer to a specialist. For limited gum tissue removal, tongue-tied dilemmas, and high smile lines that appear "gummy" - we offer in office treatment. Often the orthodontist will refer a patient to us to remove tissue between the upper front teeth to allow for adequate tooth movement.
When decay gets too big to support a standard filling, crowns are needed. Other reasons for crowns are fractured teeth and root canals. Anytime a tooth cannot support a standard filling without the risk of fracture, a crown is necessary. Like a small twig void of vital sap, a tooth without the vital pulp becomes brittle.
Gum recession refers to the loss of gum tissue along the gumline. This can occur as a result of periodontal disease (gingivitis, periodontitis, advanced periodontitis), the natural aging process, or abrasive habits when it comes to brushing the teeth. The Chao Pinhole(R) Surgical Technique is a minimally invasive option for treating gum recession.

I had a broken tooth and they got me in that day. All the staff was kind and patient. I have extremely bad anxiety whenever I go to the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable and safe 😊

I went to Dr Pratt needing all of my teeth pulled and dentures made. I’m low income and I had every penny I could get together and I just didn’t quite have enough. He gave me a discount so I could afford it. When my dentures came back from the denturist they never quite fit right. Dr Pratt tried to make adjustments but it just wasn’t possible. He quit using the denturist he was using and went with a new one that is just awesome! They found out my dentures could not be fixed and Dr Pratt asked him to make me a brand new pair. Dr Pratt and his staff were wonderful to me every single
