Mortgage company used this company for their appraisals so I didn’t have a choice. They’ll take your contract price, and then write whatever down on the appraisal to get to that number. I never would have noticed if they hadn’t misread my contract that showed my build price without optional upgrades. So my appraisal came in almost $20,000 short. Long story short, submitted a claim with my reasoning and magically the adjusted appraisal came back $10,000 Over my actual contract price when using all of the same info with one of the comparable homes changed. Wouldn’t recommend them whatsoever

The team over at Definitive Valuations was amazing! They handled my appraisal super well - they were quick to set up an appointment that worked within my schedule; they were very detailed but fast; and they were really nice and clean while in my home. They noticed all the renovations I have done, used great comps, and didn't complain about my multiple dogs.
