Golden Key Piano Studio is a home-based piano studio founded in Sugar Land, Texas in 2016 by Mr. Shengyuan Zhou and Ms. Qianyao Zheng. The goal of the studio is to provide extremely high quality piano lessons and other piano related services such as piano maintenance, audio recording and video recording.
In Golden Key Piano Studio, our dedicated faculties not only tirelessly guiding students toward success in creating beautiful music, but also helping students to develop positive personalities which help them succeed in life. Even though our home studio is in Sugar Land, our associates are scattered all across the greater Houston area which allows us to provide services across the metropolitan area.

Mr Zhou is such a professional pianist and wonderful teacher with excellent piano skills, smart teaching techniques and unbelievable patience, especially for little kids. He has a talent to make lessons fun and relax, but do have requirements and disciplines----lazy ones can't pass the test with 5 stars. He records every lessons and recitals and you always get a copy to review. My 6 year daughter is expecting and enjoying her lessons every week with Mr. Zhou, who is far more patient and funny than her own parents, in her perspective :) She just had her perfect(almost) debut last week after 5 month

I just moved recently and needed to get my piano tuned. It's been over a decade since it was in use. I spent a couple of days looking for a piano tuner who seems to have a lot of experience and within my price range and location. I contacted him from his website and he emailed me back within a day. Compared to all the other I contacted, he was very quick. I believed that my piano was extremely bad and needed repairs so we made a two appointment days in case we needed the second day. He came in and quickly gave me a quote which was a lot lower then I expected from his website's price listing

Mr. Zhou is a piano technician of the highest quality and utmost integrity. He is professional, thorough, punctual, informative, corteous, accomodating, and wonderfully skilled. As a professional musician and pedagogue, I am incredibly pleased to employ his services in the maintenance of all the instruments (pianos) I use for teaching and performing, both for myself and my students. His prices are also quite reasonable, especially considering the quality of his work. Anyone searching for a piano technician need look no further!

My son, daughter, niece, and I started our very first piano lesson with Sheng back in October 2015, and it has been quite wonderful to learn and grow every week under his teaching and guidance.
First off, he did a terrific job of re-tuning an almost 50 years old piano and restoring its sound after it has been sitting idle in my parent's house for several decades.
Secondly, I really appreciate how he helped us to get the correct rhythm and dynamics for every musical piece that we played so that the music sounds lively and enjoyable not only for ourselves but also for our audiences. Up to this

I only have one other teacher to compare Sheng to, but it is such a vast improvement it is nearly incomprehensible. I think the difference stems from the incredible amount of care he puts into his students' learning path and their eventual performances.
My first teacher basically went page by page in the adult book. Sheng jumped from book to book to not only keep learning interesting but to focus on techniques that were most importantly lacking in the student.
I would highly recommend hiring him as your next piano teacher!
