I developed a love of photography as a little girl. This started by taking photos of my family and friends. I can still remember when my father bought me my first 35mm film camera; I was barely 12 years old. As time went on, I turned into a book worm and became a Chemical Engineer from The University of Texas, but I always cherished my love of photography.
It wasn't until 10 years after I graduated with my Masters degree from Rice University that I decided photographing lives was my true passion. It was finally time to develop that love and share my talents. In 2016, Sweet Pecks Photography was created!. As a mom of three (yup, those are my babies up there), I know how important it is to capture your family in beautiful photographs that you will cherish for a lifetime.

This is our second time working with Shary - she is fast, friendly and gets amazing shots of our family and kids easily. To be clear, she makes it look easy. It's not. She quickly makes everyone feel comfortable and I'm in awe of the great shots she's able to get. She is very communicative and turns around edited photos as fast as possible. We will definitely be back! :)

Fabulous experience! Recently used Sweet Pecks for family minis and they were perfect. Communication was easy and scheduling was a breeze! the photo session was super easy and painless (even per my husband who hates professional pics)!!! The pictures turned out great and turnaround was so quick. highly recommend!

Shary took our newborn pictures and she was fantastic! It was easy to communicate with her and she was very responsive. She is creative, efficient, and so sweet. She provided all of the props for the session, and even had clothes for me to wear, which was super convenient. The turnaround time for proofs and edited pictures was pretty quick. We loved how the photos turned out and will definitely book sessions with her in the future!
