Approximately twenty years ago, Canon Inc. introduced the company's first digital radiography panel, the CXDI-11, and has brought to market a variety of different models in the decades since, including the CXDI-31 Portable Digital Radiography Detector and the CXDI-50RF Dynamic/Static Detector.
The Cephus CatheterTM is a colorectal catheter intended to instill air or fluid into the colon. This catheter incorporates inflatable balloons: one spherical and a secondary tapered balloon. The augmentation of the two balloons creates an airtight rectal seal. Applications for the catheter includes barium enema, intussusception reduction, CT evaluation of Low Anterior Resection (LAR) or fistula, and virtual colonoscopy (CT Colonography).
