People commenting that this is the "most dangerous and scary hotel they've ever seen" have clearly never been on a road trip.
With that being said, real dingy and dirty. On the bright side, the toilet was sealed. No comforter, just multiple layered sheets, but I guess at a motel that's probably a good thing for confidence on hygienic laundering. Pillows were also the size of small decorative throws? Nothing obviously wrong, just your average run of the mill icky budget motel.
Also... just gonna say it, definitely some sketchy "spiritual energy."

I purchased my flight and did my reservation on expedia. Upon arrival I was charged an additional $50 for early check in. Check in is at 4pm so if your flight arrives early in the day, they will charge. The lighting in part of the room didn't work. The jacuzzi was not working. The refrigerator was not working. The wi-fi wasn't working. The only working ice machine was on the second floor.
The pillows are almost flat and not enough for two guests. The building is falling apart.
Only convenience is the walking distance to CVS which is next door. The sap center and Whole Foods are walking

The first thing I noticed my hotel room had an odd repugnant smell from either old carpet or possible mold. Our bathroom was even worse it gave off an offensive odor undescribable. I think the carpet was layered on top of hardwood floors because I step somewhere and the floor squeaks!
2nd thing that was even hilarious is the the plastic cover for the light switch near the main hotel room door fell off by itself and onto the floor , leaving the main room light stuck in the on position. I tried finding hotel maintenance phone number to call but I ended up walking back downstairs to the hotel lobby

I'm not sure how the room rates are when you purchase a room in person but through apps like Hotels.com, you can save a lot of money in comparison with other places around the area. If you are expecting a five star hotel for the price then you should look somewhere else. This place isn't bad for a few nights stay but because they are conveniently located in downtown and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants, you do see many homeless people on the street and quite a few loud tenants. The rooms themself are fairly spacious and always maintained to at least 8.5 out of 10

Based on the google rating, price, and pictures I thought this was a cute little boutique hotel. It turned out to be the dirtiest and scariest hotel I've ever stayed in.
It reeks of mold, must and old cigarettes. There were no pillows on our bed when we checked in and there was a balled up poptarts wrapper behind the microwave. The AC just blew out hot air but the windows had no screens so we couldn't open them for fresh air. There were people loudly banging on doors and yelling at 3 am. Definitely felt that the $85 dollars we spent were wasted. Do yourself a favor and stay literally

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I actually cried when I got to my room. It's the definition of a crack hotel. I left a day early, I couldn't hang. Someone's car was also stolen the night I checked in. If you like sleeping on a box spring, stay here! Love stained dirty carpets that are 30 years old? Stay here!

If I could rate this hotel in the negatives, I would. Horrible service at the front desk, not more than two words and extremely unprofessional. He took my luggage to hold because the check in time was not till 4, that's no big deal. But he just stuck them right inside the office door, which was ajar when we returned, and didn't give us any sort of tag or ticket to retrieve them. The I ffice was extremely dirty and worn down, that mixed with the poor service should've been my red flag to leave, but we were in a hurry to get to the hockey game so I let it be. Upon returning and

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
When we pulled up the person on duty was outside smoking (do you, but, I mean, don't blow cigarette smoke in my face while I'm trying to check in). He was extremely rude when we were inside and paying.
The room. THE ROOM. So gross. It smelled like mold. There are many aesthetic flaws, which, fine. But the tub has jets that have red rings around them and the bottom has a lot of green build it up.
We set out bags down and after a minute just picked them back up and decided to leave.
The person on duty told us it wasn't his issue and that we'd have

This is part 2 of my review. After the smashing of 4 cockroaches and the assurance by the night front desk person that I was getting a full refund, I called the next day to check the status with priceline. Priceline returned to the call and stated the manager denied the refund - and stated they best he would do was 20%. I was there for ~ 2 hours and killed 4 cockroaches, 2 of which were in the bed area. So I called the hotel. The conversation took a big turn south as shortly after explaining the situation - the really nice guy (sarcasm obviously) had told me:
1) that I brought the roaches, I

Unprofessional and dirty. Management has zero desire to improve the place. Check in took well over 30 minutes. Front clerk didn't even seem to be mentally aware of the situation of a backed up line. I got my room key and it wasn't programmed properly, had to walk back downstairs to fix it. When I got to my room, the first thing I had noticed was the lighting was dim and awful. The TV was practically from the mid 2000's. And to accommodate the horrible ceiling lighting, there's about 8-10 different lamps you NEED to turn on for a normally lit room. The jacuzzi tub had damage

The location was perfect for the concert at the SAP center . It was about a 10 minute walk. The evening clerk ( Mr. hung ) was super nice and helpful. The day shift clerk not as much . Room was not that clean there was a bar of used soap in the shower , and the tv channels were very limited. House keeping kept bothering us like at 10am even though we were there for two days and then they knocked at 930 am the day we were going to check out . I asked is check out is at 11 right , then we'll be out by 11. The jacuzzi didn't work which was a bummer cause we were looking forward to using

Had a blowout in San Jose early morning and since it was nearby the search engine pulled up Arena hotel, 817 The Alameda, in San Jose By this time it's 4:30 am in the morning. Called front desk to ask for late checkout because I was feeling well and to see if I could have the discounted rate on line and if so I would pay again. Front desk said no they can't do anything for me. I said can I speak to Manager. He said no one is here to speak with. I said when will someone be available. Front desk replied not until tomorrow but you can have a late checkout at noon. I replied isn

We got there and our room key was not working it took them two hours to get it fixed so we went out and walked to the nearest grocery store to get something to eat.
The room is big it's very old one of the lightbulbs by the sink is not working. The remote control for the TV was not working so we called the front desk and they gave us another one which also was not working so we gave up on watching TV.
The mattress is not so comfortable but for the price of the room under $100 on a weekend, it was a bargain.
This hotel was recommended by the Rosicrucian Museum to my husband. Had we known

Stayed here for a night. We reached at almost midnight driving from LA. The hotel is near the downtown area. Many homeless & shady people all through. They provide free parking to their guests.
At the front desk we were welcomed by "Bill", everything was going smooth until he took a photocopy of our credit card, which I guess is not legal nor have we seen any other hotels that we have stayed in do. He was giving vague answers as to why, well.
We went to our room, & the hallway reeked with the smell of weed, yuck, the dead bolt was not working, the wall
