Horrible rooms , horrible beds , will take a $50 deposit just to scam you out of it by complaining about a sheet and or a towel . Beware . If you do stay there make sure to do a walk thru with management before staying inside of the room.

Clean room & bath and friendly staff. Small room and TV didn't work. Looked like they were working on some remodeling. Good for just a clean place to sleep with nothing else

Friendly staff, clean room. The bed was comfy, and mini fridge and microwave were very convenient. We'd stay here again. It is located in a nice neighborhood, next to a great breakfast place, gas station, and Starbucks. It could use a little updating, but it was perfect for our needs.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They have nasty BED BUGS. Writing this review from the Emergency room because my boyfriend is currently getting IV antibiotics from infected bug bites from his stay there last night! Horrible horrible. Will be filing a claim for this place. The photo attached is of his arm but he has bites all over his body.

I have visited out of town friends and relatives several times when they have stayed here. The place is humble and priced reasonably. Some rooms have been remodeled recently. Staff seem friendly and helpful. Rooms, tubs, toilets, sheets and towels are clean. Good location to get to downtown San Jose or Santa Clara. Street noise from four lanes of The Alameda might be too much for some.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and was given a smoking room that was booked by accident (I have severe asthma) and the owner would not refund my reservation (he couldn't switch me to a different room bc they were sold out.)

Aside from this poor customer service experience, the place looks like a roach motel. I can't believe that this place has 3.5 stars. There are Motel 6's that offer better accommodations than this.

Never again would I stay here nor do I recommend it.

What a dump! My room wasn't ready at 9:00 PM. The key card wouldn't open the door, and the attendant said, "Keep it away from car keys and cell phones" (I came on the train, no keys, and my cell was in another pocket). The remote control didn't work, and they guy said he couldn't fix it until the next day. They advertise a hot tub, but there's no hot tub. Broken furniture and old mattresses are stacked at the end of the hallway. For $150. a night, they can and should do better.

Terrible! The "queen" beds they claim are full size... the "jacuzzi" tub is a regular bath tub. The remote for the tv only hanged the channels, no volume, no power. The air in the room doesn't work. The rooms smell absolutely disgusting. One complaint after the other. If you are considering this facility to stay, only at a complete last resort. Never again will I stay here! Sadly this was my last resort... I believed their accommodations to be true... I'll do better research next time

I looked at the bad reviews before we stayed there. But after staying at Valley Inn I don't think it warrants a one star. It's not a fancy hotel, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was helpful. I will say the breakfast bar was pretty sad offering just cereal. But for the high cost of living in Silicon Valley I would stay here again during my next visit.

See pics. This place is a joke. Rip off your money.. only pleasant thing is when you check-in, of course they are more than happy to take your money. The bed had bad springs, everything was either out of date/stained/molded/or just dirty and falling apart. Customer service was so-so up to the point when i had to check out. Difficult to get receipt and when i did and had a problem with it, they tried to confuse me and in the end jipped me money. And charged more than what was supposed to be.

Had to come around the area on short notice (had some business in Santa Clara University, which this place is very close to), and all the other motels/hotels were booked out and the few available were very pricey, so I came to the Valley Inn. Nice place to just sleep. Didn't have to try the the Wi-Fi because my LTE was very fast at the hotel ( I have T-Mobile). Don't know if they had breakfast or not, I was late and didn't get a chance to check it out. In conclusion, I would stay in this motel again.

I paid $99 $112 with tax for a nasty beat up room with broken down stuff. Light switches don't work lamps on the side of the bed are broken and the mirrors are disgusting . I'm not even a clean freak and I would not want to take a bath in what they call a hot tub. Hollow sockets in the bathroom walls with wires hanging out. I would only recommend staying here if it was your only choice next to sleeping on a park bench .

Upon reading the reviews for this place I was a little worried as they were all pretty much negative. However I have to say I have no complaints whatsoever with my stay here. I was only looking for a budget place to sleep at night, shower in the morning and be out and about all day and this place did the job. The bed was comfy and the shower was clean and the wifi worked well! As is written in other reviews it's in a great location, there's a bus stop right outside and there are some shops/restaurants in walking distance. The staff were very friendly to us and helped us a lot with our

Place is clean, comfortable, very well priced, located along bus line and in walking distance to businesses (Safeway, Starbucks, Sandwich places, hair cuts, etc). They had free wifi.

Management was very friendly and helpful, other patrons all seemed like decent people. Place is no frills, budget oriented; would stay there again.

I stayed here with my young son for about 3 weeks while we waited for our new ace to be ready for move in. We got a great date because we paid weekly. Not the best hotel but decent enough for the price. Air conditioning worked well, offered room cleaning every day & the front desk staff was friendly.

Always felt safe and he manager always said oh and asked how we were doing. We even had family come visit and had no problems at all.

Overall, it was a decent place. Rooms cleaned daily and safe ace to lay our heads. I've stayed in major chain hotels that we're far worse.
