Excellent location and gorgeous hotel! Bed was ok but could have been more comfortable. Mini fridge barely worked in my sister's room and didn't work in mine.

Solid hotel smack in the middle of Santana row. Good service , clean rooms. Expensive per night but that can be due to the location of the hotel. Close and walkable distance to some of the most high end shops and showrooms like Bloomingdale’s, Tesla etc. and with nearby supercharger locations for Tesla EVs . Parking can be a bit tight and if the hotel has some events then it can be noisy in your room as event hall is right in middle of hotel .Noise can reverberate in the rooms as a result and may disturb your sleep especially if the event has music in the night. But service is good and staff

If you want a good night sleep this is not the place for you. They had a huge party in the courtyard till 11:00 pm. A bunch of drunk people screaming at the top of their lungs. It's like a college frat party. The front desk did nothing about it. Last time I will ever stay here.

The room was beautiful- the tub has a stain on it and the ceiling has a part that was discolored, I believe from the lamp. The decor was simple but tasteful, the bed was comfortable, except for the 2 things mentioned, the room was very clean. The hall was quiet for the most part and the entrance to the hotel and the lobby was very beautiful. Best of all, it has a GREAT central location to shopping on Santana Row AND the Westfield Mall.

Popular and bustling location but the hotel is worse for wear. Greeted by a tray of half-eaten food at our room door, we stepped into a dingy, barely vacuumed, dirty and dinged up room with few amenities to offer. Only went down hill from there… Burnt pancakes… flavorless food… what a bummer. A hotel refresh, and a staff retraining is much needed. After that, the hotel could be charming.

My experience here was mixed. It was a last minute reservation booked through Hotel Tonight. I had to wonder if that had something to do with it.

We arrived after the check in time and it was a smooth check in. The staff all seemed nice enough.

The room was definitely in need of an upgrade. The walls were damaged as was the furniture. The shutters on the inside of the windows would not close right and a few of the lamps were missing bulbs. The small mirror in the bathroom had some kind of build up on it and it was broken.

The alarm clock is supposed to have a wireless charging option but

Nice having the shopping area close. Too crowded sometimes. Elevators too slow. Breakfast was not of my satisfaction. Shower and towels were ok. Bed and pillows were good. A/C worked good. Too many things on the walk way. Valet parking is too expensive.

On vacay in Cali with my three kids and wanted to plan a swanky last night of vacation. Booked this hotel with my corporate travel rewards and was really excited.

I requested a 1pm check in. Standard check in is at 3pm.

Upon arrival the valet staff dudes were really awesome, funny, and welcoming. But the front desk was anything but.

"Oh you're here on an Expedia reservation...." With visible eye rolls from the agent. I even inquired on if upgrades were available (that I'd pay for) and the agent gave me elevator eyes and said "NO". I had just been traveling all

Great location in heart of Santana Row, which offers great views for the rooms and balcony rooms are extra nice for enjoying all that goes on below.
The bar here is amazing - lots of seating and balcony views.
Rooms were pretty standard, clean and had all the basic necessities. Only negative would be the bathroom, has an outdated feel especially with how nice the lobby and rest of the hotel is designed.

I stayed there before my early flight the following day back to my country, and I was surprised it was quiet despite the fact it was close to the airport. It was a very comfortable stay, and I feel very safe. Aside from that, the location was very convenient as well, I just have to cross the street from the domestic airport, and there it is! All the staff I encountered as I walk in were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located on Santana Row, one of the best places in San Jose. The area features high end stores and lovely restaurants. There is a shopping mall that's 10 minutes away and the famous Winchester Mansion isn't too far either (great for tourists).
The room I got was lovely, I didn't have a great view, but didn't mind because I was out for most of the day.
The food at the breakfast buffet was decent, I would have liked to see more variety though.
I loved everything about the place. I highly recommend for tourists. The location is the best part!

The staff is are amazing! They seem so caring and are very helpful. From the valet parking attendants, to the front desk staff and the restaurant workers, they all were top-notch and seemed genuine and happy to help. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Be advised, this is popular for events such as weddings, bridal showers etc. so, there were a couple of large groups that seemed to instantly fill the pool lounge chairs and restaurant/s. We didn't care, but some people might.

I had the worst experience this past weekend at this hotel. This was my second time booking and had previously recommended multiple parties to stay here as well based on my previous experience.

We were made to feel unwelcome, the hotel patrons made us feel uncomfortable, and we were targeted during our experience.
I had multiple parties coming in from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chico who booked with the hotel who also had the same experience and will no longer be staying here when in San Jose.

We received multiple noise complaints at 10PM on a Saturday, while the patrons of the Irish bar

Wednesday night we had the opportunity to participate in an intimate wine dinner hosted by Chef Paul Rohadfox at the Valencia Hotel, featuring Rombauer wines.
You hit it out of the ballpark Chef. Beautiful food, beautiful wine, beautiful location and evening.

This was a beautiful, memorable evening. Not only were my taste buds exploding with flavors, the roof top view was spectacular, the sunset magic and meeting fabulous people, and hearing great stories was priceless.

Great location if you're going to shop or drink at the bars or restaurants and don't want to worry about driving home. Valet service is good and fair priced for the area.

I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're expecting good customer service. The rooms are dirty and it's true they do get quite loud given the night scene in Santana Row. I did mention the issues we experienced at checkout and we were told "Sorry about that."

Great location and that's about it.

Where do I even begin?
The noise level at night is insane unless you're out there partying.
The problems started from the min I started booking the room. I should have realized it then and just not booked it.
I booked a deluxe balcony king and in the picture of the room on website while booking, it showed a table and chairs on the balcony. Wouldn't you think the room you booked had them? Nope. So when we went up to our room, I called down and said this isn't the room I booked. The lady at front desk was so rude and condescending and started telling me that I was so wrong(I will

Yay for travel opening up again. We had a team offsite here after 16 months and it was wonderful to spend time with colleagues face to face.

Hotel Valencia has a fantastic location. Tons of restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel. It's also next to Valley Fair Mall which has a lot more options.

The rooms are a good size and well equipped. Very courteous and attentive staff. I am a fan!

Stayed here for work.
Cool place! Nice grounds, it's awesome the rooms have balconies and it is in a wonderful location!
The only thing that was a bummer was no one told me about the construction across from my room, aside from a letter being slipped under the door at night (a little late of notice!) luckily for me I had to be up early for work anyway- but had I wanted to rest that would've been frustrating.
Anyhow! I get it, they knew I was there for work so probably counted on me being up early.
All in all I would stay again if the need ever arose!!
Room was clean, bathroom was modernized

Valencia has definitely declined. The first time I stayed here for a couple weeks in 2018 and this hotel was top of the line, but it seems COVID did a number on this place. Maybe they weren't totally prepared for reopening, which is ok, but it still took checking into three rooms before they put me in one that was clean. Dirt in the bathtubs; hair on all the tables, counters, and bedspreads, no extra toilet paper, empty tissue box in the bathroom. Glasses in bathroom and by ice bucket are clearly not clean, white towels had strange brown stains, burnt out lightbulbs in bathroom and bedroom

Growing up in San Jose and returning as an adult to Santana Row, I had always wanted to stay here. Seems that wishful thinking set higher expectations that what this place is.

Arriving we were asked the COVID questions, then shown to the elevator to get up to the third floor. There were two hosts checking in a like of 15 couples. Employees walked back and forth, but no acknowledgement given to the long line of guests. We waited for over 30 mins to be checked in. Seemed like the hosts had said, "Let me check with the manager" and least 6 times for different guests as we waited our turn

So SOOO awful. Didn't even stay the night because of how bad it was!

First off, growing up in San José I've always adored Santana Row and was very excited to be staying in this hotel!

Arriving at the hotel was busy (expected), you pull up, unload, get in the elevator to the 3rd floor, check-in, get in another elevator and make your way down the hall. I really thought the process was quite long just in general and not too easily accessible (especially during COVID when they are not allowed to help with bags). Coupled with the parking being the public parking a block or so away (free
