Pennsylvania is a no-fault divorce state. This means that a spouse can initiate divorce proceedings without having to prove to the court that the other spouse is at fault for the end of the marriage. How amicable each spouse is to the divorce will largely determine whether you should pursue a contested or an uncontested divorce.
Elder law and estate planning matters are often legal matters that people put off for as long as possible. Thinking about your mortality is never an easy subject, and finding a lawyer who has the knowledge needed to guide you can be a challenge. We provide close, personalized attention to you and your family, allowing us to quickly address the questions or concerns you may have.

I consulted Tom for a divorce that was started in FL. He was very helpful and honest and kept my best interest in mind and it ended up saving me a decent amount of money. I feel like most attorneys would have collected the retainer fee and billed me for hours that were not necessary. It’s good to know Tom does not operate like that and your best interest is his first priority.

I have recently had the pleasure of using Thomas Nell to write wills and power of attorney for my wife and I. He scheduled our first appointment promptly and gathered information as to meet our wishes. The second meeting he went over the documents and explained each article. He even offered advice on tax laws to retain as much of our estate as legally possible.
His son recently passed the bar exam and has joined him in the law firm, making the longevity of the firm likely to last beyond my years.
Pleasant , knowledgeable , reasonable rates. Good experience.
