Green Grass Physical Therapy
It has been my pleasure providing physical therapy services to you at Green Grass Physical Therapy. I know there are many options for physical therapy, and I am grateful that you have chosen me. However, given the current pandemic and the uncertainty of when things will return to normal, the time has come for me to shift my career in a new direction.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, I worked in the dot.com industry, and now I am really excited to return to the tech world. Recently, I completed a coding boot camp and am currently searching for a new role as a software development engineer. In a perfect world, I would land a role at a health-tech company, allowing me to combine my background in healthcare with my new software development skills.
Services
Green Grass Physical Therapy also offers custom orthotic fabrication at an affordable price. Insurance eligibility and benefit coverage can vary widely and is dependent upon the plan you have selected. Please contact your insurance carrier prior to starting physical therapy to determine your individual coverage.
The human body functions like a biomechanical machine. Through a sports-specific movement assessment, identify compensatory or non-optimal movement patterns. Then, through a series of movement re-education to teach your body to function differently to achieve improved power, form and output as well as a reduced chance of injury.

I had a bulged disk around the L4/L5 area of my back which made daily life a struggle. I am a 34 year old active guy who felt like a grandfather for months due to this issue. Sue did wonders in my back! Easily the best physical therapist I have ever worked with. It's hard to believe that such a light touch could have such a huge healing impact. She also taught me exercises that I could use to strengthen core and avoid back pain in the future. Most therapists spend most of the time watching patients exercise but Sue spends only 5 minutes teaching and critiquing exercise form so that I can exercise

I have known Sue since before she started her own business. She has seen me through many rough years: bad knees, two car accidents, and other injuries. Having one hour appointments is the best! Sue listens, diagnoses, and treats with compassion and understanding. She has special "degrees" in manipulation and joint health. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to YELP her. She deserves TEN stars!

Sue helped me close a giant gap in my abs post-partum. She was gentle, informative, and gave me skills and exercises to last a lifetime. My back no longer hurts and my ab-gap is substantially smaller. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Sue for quite a while. As an active 73 year old, I have experienced pain in different parts of my body. Sue has been able to competently address each problem. Through her manual therapy, exercises, and suggestions for pillows, etc., I have pretty much become pain free. I have had six whiplash injuries while driving or sitting at stop signs and I am now free of neck pain. My hip problem, which came with my last rear end collision, is also no longer a problem. I feel my visits to Sue are important to the quality of my life. I remain active and am usually in good humor. Sue

Sue is the BEST! I have seen many physical therapists and Sue is by far the most attentive and thorough. I saw Sue for hip pain I had been having for 4 years. My pain was significantly reduced after only 3 sessions. She also gave me a few very simple exercises to do along with my gym workouts that allowed me to engage the correct muscles and take the pressure off of my hip. Sue is extremely knowledgeable and is able to get to the root of the problem. Part of my hip pain was connected to my ribs and as she worked on that I started feeling even better. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

Sue is AMAZING! I have been in pain for most of 2012. I was seeing another PT and was in more pain after each session. We were basically chasing my symptoms and he couldn't figure out exactly what was causing my knee, sacrum and foot pains. My naturopath/accupunturist, Dr. Josh Leahy, who is another AMAZING person, referred me to Sue and said she is the best.

My first appt. was so thorough with her questions and examination and measurements of my ROM's. She really listens and problem solves. During the first session she figured out my issue was that my sacrum was tilted and twisted

So, I went and completely wrecked my neck somehow. I went in with a massive amount of pain in between my shoulders and at the base of my neck. Sue gave an extremely thorough consultation and then worked over my trouble areas systematically. Not only does she help you to heal through her therapy, she makes sure to explain what is going on with your body and why it is in pain. She gave me a detailed write up of what to do to prevent further problems. The session was extremely helpful and my pain is gone. I highly recommend.

Sue is brilliant and an amazing physical therapist. I used to live in Seattle and went to her for help with my chronic neck and back pain. I had tried so many things before and nothing worked. I was beginning to think i'd never find relief until i went to see Sue. She was very friendly and put me at ease from the start. She taught me ways to keep up the program at home so i am pain free even now. I'm so glad she opened her own practice. I just wish it was in Chicago :) I highly recommend going to Sue. She has helped both my husband and i through hip and back problems. Give
