The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

I can't say enough good things about Shepard-Roberson funeral home. Rob was very helpful and accommodating for me and my sister. Our father passed unexpectedly and my sister and I had no idea where to even start with arrangements. Rob and his staff really helped guide us throughout the entire process. Our fathers funeral service was handled in a very professional manner. I don't think we could have trusted a better place to handle everything. We just want to thank Rob, Andrew and all the staff from the bottom of our hearts for their hard work.
