Although no one likes it when their pet needs surgery, we do our best to make sure the needs of both our patients and their families are met. We prioritize excellent client communication so that families are kept up to date on the health status of their loved ones. Every patient has a dedicated veterinary nurse following him or her through the entire pre-surgical preparation, surgery and post-surgical recovery.
Although it might not be apparent, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age 3. Just as dental care is critical for healthy lives in people, the same applies to your pets. Bad breath caused by dental disease is not just a nuisance, but the associated infection of the teeth and gums can easily lead to more serious health problems including heart, lung, and kidney disease.
Cancer is always a challenging disease to treat. It is often stressful to the owner as well as the patient. We understand these concerns, so our goal is to provide our oncology patients with both a good quality of life in addition to a lengthened lifespan. One of the ways we strive to minimize patient discomfort is by offering special chemotherapy ports.
Wellness care is a comprehensive, preventative approach to pet health. It takes into account everything from vaccines, to diagnostic screening tests, to your family's lifestyle. Call us today to schedule an examination on your pet with one of our doctors to discuss these and other concerns you might have.

Prices are VERY HIGH, and the quality is VERY LOW. Vet needs to learn how to inject some empathy into her tone, instead of sounding annoyed. GARBAGE.
Save yourself the frustration, research other places, then take your fur-family away from F&F.

Not particularly impressed. I had to really fight to advocate for what I knew my pet needed based on their condition I've been working through for months. Not being able to go inside due to "covid" they took my dog away from me during a scary episode of nausea and throwing up, only made worse by severe separation anxiety. Then proceeded to try to scare me into letting them run a gamut of expensive diagnostic tests by describing his condition as far worse than it actually was. Rather than listening to me explaining what has worked for my dog in the past when he has vomiting episodes, they insisted

Tonight I called them for my dog. He has a lump the size as a ping pong ball. His eyes are mainly shut and only use them if needed all day he was using his sense of smell to get around the house. When he got there yes his eyes where open there was dogs being brought out a place he never has never been to. In my home he’s use to it. But when the lady came out she was very rude she didn’t even look at him nor touch the lump at all. They didn’t see it as a emergency case but every vet I called said he needed to be seen right away. And I think being military had a lot to do with it. I get there

One of the only places on island that will see my chinchillas, especially for emergencies. Had to take one a few months back late night and they took her in for the night. She’s been thriving ever since. Took my boy in today and I’m very confident he’s in great hands. Friendly staff and doctors. Thank you so much for seeing my babies on such short notice. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Very disappointed! My parrot was injured there twice, thousands of dollars and tests and no results. Dr. Walsh had always been kind and courteous and was very helpful with our cockatoo. But the place is just sad. Dr Hancock refused to follow her boss, Dr Walsh's orders and refused to see us. The two hours and 70 mile trip was wasted. Now we need to find an avian vet. I'm really angry.

Support is great, but the wait times are very long.
After being told that our dog was ready for pickup, we had to wait additional time for medication processing.
Shouldn’t take to long.
People’s time is valuable.

DISAPPOINTED, UPSET, and FRUSTRATED.
Already poor and impersonal service compounded.
For 10 years I’ve abided their high prices- but rationalized it because I wanted one vet to have her file, maintain consistency of the exam and ensure the records of any issues are looked at.
Took my 10yo dog in for annual exam, and it was brutally obvious that they don’t even review this stuff- the doctor asked me if I had noticed the fatty tissue lumps that I paid to have tested just last year.
I’m taking her file from them, and taking her elsewhere.
They’re obviously too busy to read her file, so

I took my pup here for the first time, for urgent services, not quite an emergency. They said I could be waiting all day for him, as he was going to get fit in between schedules patients. He was done in less an hour- with medications ready to go! That’s quicker than a scheduled vet visit at VCA!
Seriously the friendliest staff! They were way nicer, timelier, and willing to help than his previous vet (VCA Pearl City), with comparable prices.
I’m very glad I chose this vet for my herd of 3 large pups! I feel if something bad were to happen to any them, they’d be in the absolute best care

Our Guinea Pig Rocket was very sick one night and we were panicking. We called Feather and Fur and the receptionist was so kind and understood our urgency. Rocket ended up staying for 2 nights in oxygen therapy and the doctors (Dr. Pressler and Dr. Hancock) were beyond amazing to him. I called once every few hours to check on him and the doctors were always more than willing to explain and listen. These two ladies were so knowledgeable, respectful and patient. I am so grateful he was in their care. He is now home and doing well and I will recommend this animal hospital to anyone. Bring your babies
