Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Michael Cox, who is a licensed, experienced Clanton veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Dr. Cox's family always had a farm in Chilton County while he was growing up. So when he graduated from Auburn University in 1985 he knew he wanted to return to the area and immediately opened his pet hospital on 7th Street North. His practice is still located there today. He is married to Melanie Parker Cox, they have 5 children and 12 grand-children.
Our receptionist and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
